I doubt this website is with us, but this much could be true:

See article to right, Bruce Ivins was a Democrat

Also it appears he is right-handed. I'm no expert by any means, but the way the printing slants on that one envelope we've seen so much, it possibly could have been a left-handed person who wrote it, may mean nothing at all.

"A case like this is necessarily going to be circumstantial. Good circumstantial evidence, however, is proof of circumstances that exclude any logical explanation except a defendant’s guilt..."

Before he slipped into his current state of dementia, Vincent Bugliosi provided one of the best analogies for circumstantial evidence in his book, "Outrage" which discussed the Simpson case. Bugliosi wrote that the Simpson defense painted all the circumstantial evidence as a chain, and once one link was broken the entire chain would give way and fail. Bugliosi stated that it should be more properly viewed as a rope with numerous strands. One individual strand may be broken, but depending on the strength and number of other strands, may make little to no difference at all.

it’s just plain scary that we have people in the FBI who are this dumb.

It's more scary that we have people in the FBI who are just plain evil.

A few years ago the FBI was found to be protecting Mafia murderers. They allowed people to be sent away to prison for decades knowing full well they were innocent and that their informants in the Mafia were the true murderers.

There is something wrong with this entire story.

I'd say. No mention of his psychotic hatred of the National Enquirer. < /sarc> Ed Lake says the maker of the Anthrax and the sender were not the same person. ...so....

I'm beginning to think that if there is even a shred of truth to this tale, Ivins might have been employed by a foreign government and/or taken out by whomever is killing all the other microbiologists.

Left-handed writer’s writing slants upward, unlike the writing on the anthrax letters. That is, if it slants at all.

Mine tends to slant downward if it slants at all. My sister & I both are left-handed, as was our mother. Her writing doesn't slant, but mine often does downward, esp on unlined paper.

A possible explanation is that I don't write like so many other left-handed people I see because my teacher taught me to turn my paper the opposite of what right-handers are taught, so I never wrote with my hand curved which looks awkward.

Maybe a better question might have been, "Why does the printing slant?" I don't know if there is any significance to it or not or whether it was done on purpose or not. Probably none whatsoever compared to the rest of it.

I've been reading more on it this am, fear we'll never know for sure like so much else.

I think the slanting, because it was far too exaggerated, was either because the perp had a kid do it or was due to the writer trying to write in a way totallly opposite of their own natural style.

Just heard on the news they think they are sure this guy, Nass’s friend, is the “only” perp. Can’t wait to hear how they came to that conclusion- there were sure an awful lot of people doing their absolute darndest to nail Hatfill, including Nass’s other friends.

Thanks for the update, but now I don't know. The horrible thought occurred to me what if the real truth was something that wouldn't go down well with conservatives? And we may never find out for sure.

A kid could have done it, but kids talk sometimes, but I'm open to it either way, wouldn't matter so long as they nailed the right one. Ivins' adopted children were grown.

I can't follow issues when they get really complicated, but way back, I noticed that there were two websites that had all the Cong addresses set up in a table where addresses were truncated and blocked, left aligned with the remainder on the following line. The envelopes matched that "style" almost exactly. I posted a link at the time, but think archives don't go that far back.

Even if I don't agree with their agenda, liberals are questioning things, too. I am not real hopeful Congress can get at the real truth or not.

In Dec 2006 congress sent a letter to the FBI wanting information on the case and the FBI flipped them the bird. Supposedly Mueller was involved in this as well...
