Great news coming on the heels of polls showing McCain with a big lead in NC and a lead in FL. Obama has spent a significant amount of money targeting these states compared to almost no money spent by McCain, yet McCain still has significant leads.

No wonder Obama is having trouble convincing people to give him more money.

Lovely, Obama has spent millions in Montana on the mistaken impression he could win there.

I never thought Montana was an actual battleground state, but it is nice to get some confirmation on that.

I would sure hope so. If Montana is not in the bad, McCain is in trouble.

Look for the Obama campaign to find ONE state with polls showing them in the lead or real close, a state where McCain needs to be win or is expected to win. They will drive the media to that state. I'm thinking it will be either Colorado or Florida.

I guess the good people of Montana didn't believe their own governor when he declared Obama wouldn't take their guns. Anyone with half a brain realizes that Brady Law 2 will be much more draconian and permanent with Obama in the White House and his party in control of Congress.

Well, what do expect from a state full of bitter gun clingers living in insignificant towns of under 10,000 people. It’s not like they are REAL americans, right?

(need I add a sarcasm tag?)

I was checking RCP earlier. and most of the polls in the south are going the same way.

Obama has all but gave up on every Southern state with the exception of Virginia.

No Democrat has ever won the white house without carrying 4 or 5 southern states.

Didn’t Obama have a highly publicized stop there on his way to Denver? And Biden was there last week. So much for all that. Look for Obama to pull out his dozens of paid staffers there there and hunker down in NM or CO.

I recall a host of one of the fox shows mentioning that O had spent large amounts of money campaigning there. Not sure of where I could even find the stats on that.

that’s odd this Dim thought they had it wrapped up this AM, from the Washington Times, movin’ to Montana soon gonna be a dental floss tycoon.

“From what I’ve heard from people here, there is a general impression she was well-received because of her speech, but looking at the bigger picture, I don’t think she will have any effect on the race in Montana,” said state Democratic Chairman Dennis McDonald.

“The reason is that Senator Obama has been here five times since this spring and summer, the last time nine days ago, and has opened up 16 campaign offices statewide. McCain has not been here in eight years and has no presence in the state,” he said.
