Could Clinton have Palin-proofed Dems? Glenn Thrush, Martin Kady II Wed Sep 10, 5:32 AM ET Republican Rep. Candice S. Miller says Barack Obama had only one shot at Palin-proofing the Democratic ticket — and he missed it when he passed over Hillary Rodham Clinton as his running mate. “Every woman in America knows what Barack Obama did to Hillary Clinton: He looked at her and thought, ‘There’s no way I’m doing that,’”

Sen. Blanche L. Lincoln (D-Ark.) also sounded the Palin-will-wilt-in-the-spotlight theme.

I love how they keep underestimating Sarah. She shines in the spotlight.

““Every woman in America knows what Barack Obama did to Hillary Clinton: He looked at her and thought, ‘There’s no way I’m doing that,’” said Miller. “If Hillary was on the ticket, he’d be in a much better position to win women voters.””

Funny thing, I understand why he passed her over. Who wants a hungry shark who desperately hopes you will fail or die working for you?

Oops!

Hillary has a rock-sold (er, solid) base.
(50% of the population will NEVER vote for her.)

And Obama thinks she would become a positive?

Will Sarah wilt under pressure?

This is a lady who runs 3:38 marathons.
Who played AND WON! her state basketball championship with a stress fracture in her ankle.
Who works open-deck salmon boats as a deckhand for a living.
In Alaska.
With her husband as skipper.

Oh yeah. She’s gonna wither all right. Just go up and faint dead off at the first sign of pressure.
(After she wipes the moose guts off of her skinning knife.)

Clinton has said she’ll hit the road for Obama, but her team says she refuses to be an anti-Palin “attack dog.”

Says it all.

Obama should have chosen Claire McCaskill or Maria Cantwell and really blown McCain out of the water.

Instead he picked {snicker} ROFLMAO, Plugs.

Sen. Obama was dadgummed if he did and dadgummed if he didn’t when it came to Hillary. I’m sure the scare factor when it comes to the Clintons is there, whether or not it is just rumor. - Then you have the Kennedy limousine liberal snobs that wouldn’t have seriously suggested Hillary no matter what. So, harking all the way back to the Kennedy Sacred Cow wing of the Democrat Party to choose your running mate for you. Well. Now Hillary can’t really be blamed for not falling at the feet of the exalted One, can she?

Hllary would have shored up 0bama’s base that is a certainty. Would it have won him the election? I don’t know, it might have just mobilized the people that hate both Hillary and 0bama to get out and vote even if they don’t like McCain.
