Michelle Obama absent from 9/11 ceremony to be home with girls for 1st week of school. But...

Conspiciously absent from September 11th memorial service, the Obama campaign claimed Michelle Obama was home with her children for the 1st week of school. However, on Sep. 10th, she spent most of the day at a "Working Mothers" roundtable in Fishers, Indiana (a 3.5 hour drive from Chicago).
FISHERS, Ind. — More evidence Indiana is in play this presidential election year: the Obama campaign focused on the state again Wednesday. This time it was Michelle Obama, right in the heart of Republican territory.

So who was home with the children Wednesday while she attended the round table? Apparently, she is "all full up" on pride for her country.

But what about the Feminist “Supermom” who the left keeps saying can do it all?? Why isn’t she putting her little “burdens” with the state and working? I guess not everyone can live up to Sarah Palin’s example.

Is there ANYTHING genuine about the Obamas? Other than condescending superiority?

After what she’s said about America, she can’t show her face when everyone else is expressing their love for America.

"...a 3.5 hour drive from Chicago"

After you hit all the toll roads around Chicago it's more like 4.5...and if you hit any part of rush hour just figure on half a day going one way.

don’t you know? Democrats now believe all women should be in the kitchen baking cookies and give their man a beer.

“After what she’s said about America, she can’t show her face when everyone else is expressing their love for America.”

-Forget about the pig kiddies...if you ask me, this is the gaffe of the week...think about it...”for the first time in my life, I’m proud to be an American”...well what about on September 11th, 2001? What were you that day? Rooting for the hijackers? And where were you today? Cindy McCain was at Ground Zero...Laura Bush was at the Pentagon...where was Michelle? I think her absense was DOWNRIGHT MEAN!!!

HAHAHA...they would probably say something like that about SARAH PALIN. Someone who can get her work done deal with kids and look good doing it! Makes bunch of Feminists look bad all over....Well ok femists didn’t need SARAH to do that.

noticed it right off too that she was missing, I figured when she saw the replays and saw Cindy she was probably throwing things!

Technically it was ‘proud of my country’ and I also thought the same thing as you stated about 9/11.

McCain landslide coming!

I should write an essay about the Democrat’s attitudes on Sarah Palin. It would be indicative of what I would call the Auntie Tomithia syndrome, much like the female version of an “Uncle Tom”. And I am loving it.

It is all about power and politics to them. They can’t see how they are hurting their causes with Feminists because they all believe that Palin isn’t a real woman anyhow, especially because of her politics. Ari you are right.

The new platform of the Democrat Party is “strong independent Republican woman running for office who is part of a big family?” “Why can’t she take care of her kids instead?”

Of course to Democrats an independent woman is one who isn’t bothered by such trivialities as men or anybody with facial hair. Perhaps if Palin had gone bald, burned bras and used code words like “Patriarchy” and “Right to Choose” they would accept her. Too bad, a woman who is more of the feminist icon than Hillary Clinton and she is told to drop out and take care of her kid with down syndrome because she is an “incestuous redneck”(codename meaning: Strong woman who can protect her husband from harm and indepedent enough to go hunting for her own food).

I’m having trouble understanding where you are coming up with this line of questioning in regards to Mrs. Obama. If we are not happy about them making allegations in regards to Sarah Palin not being at home with her kids, then why is it OK to make the same allegation regarding Mrs. Obama when she isn’t even running? Maybe I’m just tired, and worn out from figuring out my computer, but I’m not seeing it... Sorry.

She probably couldn’t bring herself to honor the dead. She probably believes it was an inside job and an excuse to attack Musliims.

Think Gary and university voter fraud.

The Obama campaign is wisely keeping Michelle out of sight. When people come to the cold realization that if they elect Obama, THIS is what they will see on their TVs ad nauseum, serious nervousness sets in.

"I’m having trouble understanding where you are coming up with this line of questioning in regards to Mrs. Obama"

Her claim was that she was staying home with the kids for their 1st week of school and could not attend 9/11 memorial serice.

I pointed out in my post, that she found time to spend the day in Indiana at a campaign sponsored event the day before, 9/10.

Her priorities are evident and the kids were just an excuse.

If I was NY I would vote for the person best for the job as well as the first lady that has shown their city and people respect . . . John and Cindy McCain.

Diss, diss, diss. I have never seen such a blatant absence in a potential first lady. I think Michelle is a disrespectful angry lady and doesn't have what it takes to be a first lady. She should stay home with her girls permanently as she clearly can't handle the job of first lady. She also has horrible instincts and does not have the personality type for such a job. Maybe she is angry no one really liked her at the DNC. You could just see her attitude towards nearly everyone but her Barack.

Also Barack is mismatched for the job of president. What did he do pin the tail on the donkey career choice? He is more fitting someone that can blah, blah, blah all day. Maybe a professor? He also seems quite good at following the party line and even pushing it further left in the Senate. So he probably might have a few days there as well.

The most liberal Senator. Hard to imagine the American people would want this man without the personality type for it--for president.

The Obama campaign is wisely keeping Michelle out of sight.

Exactly. They shrewdly avoided putting her into a situation where TV viewers would compare her with Cindy McCain. It doesn't take Nostradamus to predict which woman would appear more first-lady-like to the average American.

well what about on September 11th, 2001? What were you that day?

If you can find the answer to where they were on the 9-11, inquiring minds want to know.
