For myself, I think the point is that Mrs. Obama did not spend the week with her children, but went under the radar to hustle the hustings in Indiana. So the Democratic machine lied again and laid down covering verbal fire for the least-qualified couple to run for the Presidency/First Lady ever.
Nothing new here, but from some of the posts, looks like the point can still be missed unless it is explicitly pointed out.
I would venture to guess that this “Working Mothers” “roundtable” was scheduled on 9/11 because the organizers think 9/11 is just another day, and Mrs. Obama was invited was invited because organizers think she is the perfect working mother.
‘nuf said.
They’re just keeping her out of sight as much as possible.

I think this has the Dems freaked, so they're keeping Michelle away from Barack at highly visible public events.
Just a theory, but I will test it in the days ahead to see if Mr & Mrs 0 often appear together.
I can't see any other reason why she wouldn't have been with Barack yesterday.
I’m not liking the constant comparisons of Palin to Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama I keep seeing. They’re not equivalent, and trying to make them seem so implies Palin is a token female intended to be stacked up against the other ladies.
Let’s not lose sight of the fact she is our CANDIDATE for veep, not the spouse of one, please.

I am confused. The headline of the article of September 10, 2008, posted at WSBT television on September 12, 2008 reads: “Michelle Obama courting voters in Republican territory”, NOT “Michelle Obama absent from 9/11 ceremony to be home with girls for 1st week of school.” Is this a vanity?
So where was Michelle Obama on 9/11?

I knew in my gut it was odd that Michelle wasn’t at those memorial ceremonies and her enormous love of American and her commentary of same was the reason.
We now know she didn’t see her precious ones off to school, that she was at a political event.
Ole Omarosa could not show her face on such an occasion because it would allow everyone with a camera and access to Utube, including the opposition party, to get a pic of Michelle standing solemnly at Ground Zero, a waving flagbehind her, the sound of the names of the dead being recited in the background and up in the corner we have a tiny section with Michelle saying how much she never liked her country and how damn mean this country is.
Yep. She was kept away for a purpose because while Obama and Biden will do a fine job of keeping themselves from being elected, I think Michelle My Belle, the Omarosa of potential First Ladies, will be the single thing that will sink that electoral victory.
The ladies at the beauty parlor will NEVER like Michelle no matter how much they hide her.

Anyone notice yesterday at ground zero, Fire fighters removed from their uniforms various medals, first one was put on John Mc Cain, then another was put on Cindy Mc Cain.
I didn't see Barack NoBama getting one, perhaps he did,

UPDATE: As has been pointed out elsewhere, Michelle Obama did do some campaigning this week, in Indiana and Ohio. How does that fit in with the campaign’s explanation that she was too busy to attend the 9/11 ceremony because this was Sasha and Malia’s first week of school? I asked the campaign and will get back to you when and if it responds.”
