We have the usual cabal of media slimeballs working with the chosen one's brownshirts.

re: The AP did not comply

My first response would be to simply immediately begin refusing press credentials to McCain/Palin events. And in return for granting them to others I would require them to pledge to ‘out’ the AP on any pictures or info coming from the event. When a member posts a an image or story on the AP wire they can ‘out’ specific publications and uses for the image(s). It's not uncommon for a newspaper to put the line “no mags/no sales/no dailies” in the area where the poster specifies outs. When the Tampa Tribune puts local images on the wire they routinely out the St. Pete Times, the Lakeland Ledger/the Bradenton Herald and specify no magazines.

I don't think it's possible to overstate the importance of this election to the future of the United States. Thankfully, the differences between the candidates is so striking that it should be possible, for the willing, to make it a clear cut choice at the polls between America as America and America as Europe-Lite.

It's going to be dicey, but we got to have the testicular fortitude to adopt a “PC be damned” approach and let it all hang out. I'm not an advertising/marketing person, but surely a country that has the talent to convince the world one mascara is better than another has the talent to make sure anyone who votes on Nov. 4th knows the stakes.

I can't tell you how happy I am to know it's John McCain that's on the ticket and not Dubya. As much as I like and respect Dubya he's not the man for the job at this point. He was great for post 9-11 and the WOT, but when it comes to standing up to the opposition McCain/Palin is the ticket!
