Remember, nothing is final until the electoral college votes and the Senate certifies next month. With all of the lawsuits and challenges that are sure to come, along with the probable riots, this may be long and drawn out. Support your local Cub Scouts by buying some popcorn to support their mission and promise to "do my best, to do my duty to God and my country, to help other people, and to obey the Law of the Pack." They will be selling door to door, at shopping centers, at your work, etc. for immediate consumption, or for later delivery.
Bought some Saturday from the Cub Scouts. They were selling kettle corn popcorn. Tastes good and good fer ya!
Sounds good to me. A good way to support an organization that helps boys become fine young men, and enjoy some good popcorn.
I hope and pray that there are no lawsuits or hanging chads or endless recounts. I hope that there is a clear result. A big enough margin of victory that lawsuits or re-counting ballots would be an academic exercise.
Imagine if each of the battleground states end up being extremely close. Imagine if there were lawsuits and recounts in each state. In the 2000 election mess, it was confined to one state. This is the nightmare that I hope we don’t see starting tomorrow morning. I hear that lawyers are standing by just in case.
And I’m sure that people like Jesse Jackson are standing by to get their face time on TV, if they think voting problems are happening somewhere.
I already bought some... right outside our polling place today immediately following casting our 3 family votes for McCain/Palin!!! Yummy Chocolate crunch!!!
This will be decided by 2 am regardless of who wins.
