After action report from the Greeley Tea Party.

It was a cold day but we out stood the Al Gore weather. We had a small but good turn out due to only having two days to put this together. We had the tea party in front of our new congress woman Besty Markey's new office. She did come to open it today but was a little late. It was amusing to have the new congress womans office personal watch us set up and how they all were on their cell phones. It was not much later that our local police were there to watch over us and make sure we behaved. We had some of our state and local offcials come out to meet with us and join us in our outrage against the way we are being heard. The 4th district is not as liberial as it would like to be made out to be in the papers here.

State Senator Scott Renfroe came out to meet with us.

Some of the people in the office, they were not happy to see us out in front.

It might have been some of our signs that did that.

This couple came from Colorado Springs to join us.

Rep. Markey does not look happy to see us.

We did make a point and it must have had a effect because a photographer was there taking pictures but asked to say who he was doing it for he would not say. We figure it must have been the new FEMA heads picking us out for the first FEMA camps.

Betsy did not want to have a conversation with me so I let ker know point blank what I wanted from her. I told her in no uncertain terms “You tell Obama we don’t want Cap N Trade” “You got that? No Cap N Trade”.

She was scared of me becuase of the tone of my voice and wouldn’t look me in the eyes. She mumbled something but I can tell she is not interested in what I had to say. As far as I can tell this was the first time she had ever been protested and was very intimidated. Fine by me.
