White House announces new lighting standards

WASHINGTON -- Aiming to keep the focus on climate change legislation, President Barack Obama put a plug in for administration efforts to make lamps and lighting equipment use less energy.
"I know light bulbs may not seem sexy, but this simple action holds enormous promise because 7 percent of all the energy consumed in America is used to light our homes and businesses," the president said, standing alongside Energy Secretary Steven Chu at the White House.

Thanks to the genius in the White House, last year I inflated my tires to full pressure and I haven't had to gas up in over 10 months! (yes, it's sarcasm.)
If the dems keep on pushing their environmental agenda, I may never have to gas us since I won't be able to afford it!

Well, this Communist Obama is pissing me off with the Energy Tax Bill, and with the support of a Communist Honduran leader legally removed.....
.....but this, I give him a pass on. There are some really neat diode-based bulbs about to come out that will revolutionize lighting.

It's not the light bulbs that bother me.
It's the new up and coming lighting "CZAR" and his thousand person cabinet, of well paid goons that answer to no one and help their buddies get rich on taxpayer money, that has me just a little upset.
