I never said it was a civilian job. It’s clearly not. The job description says internment and relocation of civilians. Interacting with them and no foreign language skills required. What’s your point?
Emplace demolitions, conduct reconnaissance and support maneuver units with mobility, counter-mobility and survivability.
They obviously intend much worse for us than just internment and relocation.
“relocation of civilians”...I never saw that part. My point is I do not believe that “particular” announcement has anything to do with us.
Post 11 is a copy/paste from the job description. One could make the argument that events such as Katrina would require this sort of infrastructure and planning to be in place in the future. The history of this young administration is peppered with obfuscation and misdirection though. I hope it doesn’t have anything to do with any Americans either.

Maybe the comments of some others will help.
I don't know if you've seen this yet, shibumi...
it seems that they wish to place our National Guard boy's at the business end of a barrel.
Don’t forget we pay for everything, and if that was to happen, it is no doubt we pay for the funeral, or our family pays...we pay for HC bill, but get little...same thing. Cheer up.
How about back in the early 70s? National Guard in our basic training company split off from the main group to get training in crowd control, natural disaster support, etc.
One of the crowd control techniques they described was "Stomp and Drag". Fixed bayonets, solid line of troops, stomp foot, move forward and drag other foot. Apparently intimidating visually and audibly.
I agree about the distrust, as we all have it...but have some faith in our State Militias sworn to defend the Constitution. Go to this website and ponder the OATHS taken by military, National Guard, etc...it is THE CONSTITUTION they swear allegiance to, and although they will state to obey the order of the President, that is only as long as he is faithful to our American Constitution, and us , for “domestic enemies” are those who violate it.

Oh what the heck. Snickerdoodles too! But only on days we don't have Smores!
I don’t think he slandarded the entire history of the US military. He used the words ‘rare’ and ‘occassionally’.
He also forgot to list the machine gunning of men women and children in the phillipines.
Don’t know what you mean by tinfoil Warning.
Are you suggesting you know absolutely that the thought of internment camps has never entered the minds of the entrenched and deluded political forces?
Have you missed the increased tempo in their efforts to destroy the will, power and wealth of the People during the current decade?
Or did you mean the idea of the few attempting to enslave the many has no supporting basis in the history of civilization?
Here’s a rather long message from 1732 done by Andrew Fletcher. There seems to be familiar theme woven through it.
It’s spelling and punctuation has been modernized making it less tedious for 21st Century eyes.

Leashes, collars, women’s panties and digital cameras will be provided.
Previous experience as a fraternity pledge would be useful.

FEMA camps? Or Homeland Security?
someone has to staff them
Makes you wonder if they’ll allow elections in 2010, remember this all courtesy ofF the RATS.
That still doesn’t explain the specific use of the word “resettlement.” That’s the word that has me flummoxed and suspicious.
