As the banks and the Feds increasingly intertwine their business...as the ability of the Feds to raise taxes continues to deteriorate...I fully expect to see more Fascism...the synthesis of business and government into one..just to generate cash flow to the Treasury. Ultimately I expect the courts to break it. The states may be forced to however.

,,,one way the banks could satisfy their requirement under the Community Reinvestment Act is they could partner with ACORN.

So a bank could either make a cash donation to ACORN, they could give equipment donations or they could work with ACORN to provide these loans to people who are poor credit risks. One bank that did that was the Citizens Bank of Massachusetts. They put it in a partnership with ACORN. Minnesota Bank, Northeast Bank of Minnesota donated $2,000 to ACORN. New York Bank. We'll put all of this information up on our website at MicheleBachmann.com. But this is huge.

Here you have the federal government demanding that banks lower their lending standards. And as a threat to these banks the federal government says we're putting you out of business

unless you make these bad loans. But one way you can satisfy your Community Reinvestment Act rating, because you have to get a certain score, one way you could satisfy your score, give money to ACORN. Work with ACORN. You work with ACORN, you're good with us, says the federal government. This is so bad. But the dots are connecting.

I remember Reno doing this under Clinton, Forbes mag exposed it. They made up phony home loan stats to look like discrimination against non-whites.

Unfortunately you cant blame Clinton for the last 8 years, although many here try.

The synthesis of business and government is a great danger to our freedom. General Motors should be cutting costs so they can make a profit and repay their federal loans, but instead the UAW got a sweet deal for the political benefit of the democrats, all at taxpayers’ expense. GM needs to be privatized again very soon before it burns up many billions more of the taxpayers’ money.

GM is going to become a major political issue by next year. That company is a quagmire, a bottomless pit into which this administration will pour many additional billions of hard-earned tax dollars, all for the benefit of corrupt democrat politicians.

I don’t hear radio talk, why haven’t the pubs raised a rumpus over this? It boggles me how they are able to do things like this.

Whimpy pubs...just don’t fight!

I wonder if there have ever been so many evil people in power.

Lol, I know the dems thought that of Bush and company, but there’s no way to compare mistakes to mobtown.
