What is the purpose of putting Casey out there today? To tell us that muslims in the military is really not a problem?

Ugh. Steele vs. Kaine. That’s going to suck.
Good morning, and thanks for the thread. A Healthy Mix: is that the same as some guy named Cao and 219 Democrats?
You can watch, (or just listen)to Fox News Live here: http://www.tvpc.com/Channel.php?ChannelID=1520 while your reading the posts in Freerepublic .. Like I am doing right now!
This is only the 1st touch down in a LOOOOnnng game.
It still has to pass the Senate, then the two bills have to be reconciled then pass both Houses again then
pass the Courts.
The Demcorats have to stay in control of Congress in 2010, and the White House in 2012, to avoid having the GOP repeal this.
This is a long way from done.
No, but the dems and the drivebys will tell you it's bipartisan!
Whoops, almost missed you post!
No, I think it makes sense to have General Casey on, given the events of this past week.
Too many times the Sunday show producers have ignored events in order to not have to talk about them. I’m sure they’ll try to spin them to their political philosophy, but enough Americans have eyes and ears to know what really went down (I sincerely hope!).
From your mouth to God’s ears!
Should be a few good interviews today. I wonder if the traitor muzzie shrink will be talked about today?
If they do will they mention this?
I seriously doubt it.

check out post # 64 it has Nidals name listed on zeros transition team.
I’m a little jaded and depressed about it, Johnnie.
Remember the McCain-Feingold Act? We thought and hoped the same all the way up through SCOTUS. We lost each round.
Hope springs eternal, however, and you are right to remind us all.
I just hope I don’t lose my Tricare Prime. Seems like us military retireees are the last group the dems ever consider.
Bad laws NEVER get repealed.
And we can't trust this Supreme Court (McCain-Feingold).
Yeah...we always have a few trolls on here...
Oh...you meant on TV!....
(slurp....sip) Ahhh...
It would be better if we didn’t let the media raise expectations for a 100% no vote on bills like this. Odds are there is always going to be someone who votes with the democrats, either for personal gain, constituent wishes, or nuttiness.
It would have been better if Beohner had said something like, “I imagine 2 or 3 GOP members might vote with the democrats, due to pressure from their constituents. That really isn’t bi-partisan support.”
Then when only ONE guy votes with them, they can point out that the president got even less support than they expected.
Always lowball to the press. Always.
Morning folks!
No doubt, Rod, that is why General Casey is on. Also, I doubt they'll mention the Major Muzzie worked on Obama's transition. In fairness, however, those duties are often given to military folks assigned to units in and around Washington, DC. I was on the Reagan Inauguration team in 1984. When the day came, however, my duty, in charge of the outdoor escorts, was canceled due to subzero weather conditions.
Pelosi's very narrow victory is a hollow one. The House was always going to pass Obamacare. How could it realistically not? We just didn't have the names or the count. That it was close is significant.
The real fight was always going to be in the Senate. Reid cannot lose any votes in the Senate. And if he tries to go nuclear option, he will lose big. GOP can slow the Senate down to a crawl with procedural maneuvers that can last over a year. Many moderate Dems do not have the stomach for it.
I do not believe Reid has 60. November 3rd was a big defeat for Dems, and those in the Senate have more to lose as a result.
When people realize the reality of the vote, that Obamacare is no longer theory but will effect their lives, watch out. The outcry from the American people as a result of the House passage will be deafening. The Senate will hear it. The Town Hall meetings will be even more electric. Make bank on that.
No need to be defeatist or down because of last night. I am more energized now than ever to push back against the liberals. November 3rd and 7th is the beginning of the end of Dem power, starting in 2010 and 2012.
