McVeigh, who though portrayed as a loyal nutcase American, really had spent way too much time with Abu Saayef to be anything other than a lily white patsy for the Islamists.

He didn't commit any terrorist activities, and didn't take one step toward constructing a bomb.

The Bangor Daily News reports that James G. Cummings had bragged to contractors working on his home about his collection of guns, the $2 million he got when his father (a wealthy California real estate agent) was killed by a former eployee in 1997, and his silverware that once belonged to Adolf Hitler. James' wife, Amber Cummings, shot him Dec. 9, 2008, after, she says, years of mental, physical and sexual abuse.

Not surprisingly, Amber has pleaded insanity in his murder, but from the sound of it she deserves a medal, not a prison cell.
