Don’t forget that his boyfriend also was a top ranking person in one of the biggest home loaning/thieving scandals of all time.
And all along barney assures us everything is just fine...and now he plays the savior.
And that is because, in the last 30 years, the papers have been systematically bought out by out of state liberals.
The venerable old paper I used to work for, the oldest in the state, was still locally owned when I started = now owned by a conglomerate from down south - uber liberals who know nothing about real Maine or Mainers - and don't care to.
We're not, in the words of one of the publishers, "OCP"
I asked her what that stood for and she said, "Our Class of People."
I replied: "Thank God for that."
She gave me a puzzled look - I think she was trying to figure out if I had agreed with or insulted her. They are a dumb bunch.

Even after I re-posted your VERY OWN post for you to reread - showing you did NOT say MA - and the fact that the story takes place in Maine - so one could infer your "ignorant" was in reference to Mainers.
Once proven wrong, you now posit that anyone reading your post should have KNOWN you were referring to Massachusetts people because "Bwarny" is from Mass.
As a retired reporter, investigative reporter, editor, publisher and award winning columnist - words as my tool of trade.
If you turned in a story like your post - it would've come back to you red-lined. Your readers are not supposed to have to guess what's in your mind.
