I thought the transcontinental railroad was completed!

Why do I completely doubt that they were coming here ‘for a better life’?

Divided by the wall of shame
[full art. transl.] Tijuana- The Metropolitan Archbishop, Rafael Romo Munoz, qualified as a shame the fence that the government of the United States is building to separate migrant families; he stated this during the Bi-National Shelter (event) held yesterday where the Friendship Park once was. Around one hundred persons on the Mexican side shared the event with some 80 fellow citizens who struggled to be present on the North American side. Immigration officials only allowed groups of 25 persons to pass, who could stay for only half an hour in the area where the Friendship Park was located.
During an interview, Romo Munoz pointed out how surprising it was to him that the current Nobel Peace Prize (winner), the U.S. President Barack Obama, would build so quickly the three dividing fences that now separate Mexico from the United States on this side of the border......
Why wouldn’t Quiger Muslims come here? They are guaranteed a better life.....
Just what we need - more poverty-stricken uneducated neighbors.
Google Results 1 - 10 of about 2,090,000 for IMMIGRANT SERVICES.
Are you kidding?
Oh come on. In the old days you might be exposed to ten families on your block. Today you’ll be exposed to forty, living in the same homes.
Isn’t that better? You silly Xenophobe.... /s
That's quite a travel itinerary......frequent flyer miles?
Where does it say they’re muslim?
What fence? Oh, does he mean that bit of knocked down and cut down bit of barbed wire or a couple barriers that can be climbed over, crawled under or walked around? That's the best joke I've heard all day! Here's an idea, how about illegals quit crawling under and going around and stay the heck on the south side of the border and then families won't be separated.
I suppose there are benefits... I now know what chickens being slaughtered sounds like.
Thank goodness they’re going to set up legal methods of entry like work visas. That way the two million that come across now per year can do it legally.
There!
Fixed.
All better now. Schools and hospitals will no longer have to give them free service. Oh wait...
Umm, I was thinking Chinese spies. Make it look as if they’re just fleeing to freedom...what happens if they’re caught? Maybe some jail time and they get sent back?
Been coming over the border through AZ.
There are worse things my friend. We used to have a fairly decent smattering of Asians in my neighborhood. One day I opened up the trash bin to toss out refuse, and there was the fully cooked carcass of a cat. It had been fully cleaned and cooked, but there wasn’t any sign of it having been put to use. Ouch!
Its been going on for over a hundred years - other countries take advantage of lax US border controls by encouraging their excess population to immigrate, they get hard currency and influence our legislation-making in exchange.
The chef was probably experimenting with A-1 sauce.
“Been coming over the border through AZ.”
Indeed. Many reports in the last few weeks of Chinese aliens crossing...how many aren’t caught? According to the border patrol they nab about 25%.

Federal forces in Michoacán also face public opposition
Inhabitants of several communities in the area of Apatzingan, Michoacán, where federal police were ambushed by presumed members of La Familia last week, held demonstrations today in front of the city hall to demand the departure of the federal forces. The citizens charge the federal troops with excesses of authority and civil rights violations. The people allege that after the attack on the police last week, there have been abductions of people by the federals in order to obtain information regarding the location of key players in the criminal organization. The sign in the photo below reads, Away with the PFP [Protective Federal Police] for beatings and thefts they commit on the people who are INNOCENT!

Los Zetas and La Familia clash in Uruapan
Members of two criminal gangs, Los Zetas and La Familia Michoacána, engaged in a half-hour gun battle in Uruapan, Michoacán, Monday, resulting in one dead and six arrested. [Two other periodicals put the arrests at nine.] The combat also included fragmentation grenades. It began when the La Familia group attacked a house where Los Zetas were holed up. Los Zetas held their ground and the noisy activity caught the attention of the Mexican military and several police agencies. All converged on the area to make the arrests.
Three children victims of gang war
In a presumed attack by one criminal gang on another in the state of Chihuahua, two brothers, five and ten years of age, died when the barn where they were sleeping caught fire. Their sister, seven, escaped alive, but with severe burns. The attack took place around midnight when an armed group fired into the structure located near the town of Balleza, in mountainous country west of Parral. The childrens parents, indigenous Tarahumara, were at a festival nearby at the time.
