Grand Ayatollah Montazeri Dies - Possibly killing Regime
AntiMullah & Sources Inside Iran ^ | December 20th, 2009 | Alan Peters & Iran Sources

One of Iran's most prominent dissident clerics, Grand Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri, has died aged 87.

Hossein Ali Montazeri was a moving spirit in the 1979 revolution which created Iran's Islamic state, and was at one stage set to become its leader. His fierce criticism of the slaughter by Khomeini in his prisons - ended in his being "banned" and theoretically "demoted".

Announcing his death, the Mullah regime refused to even give him an Ayatollah title let alone his true Grand Ayatollah one, mentioning him only by his name.

One of Shia Islam's most respected figures, he was also a leading critic of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and consequently the lunatic, Hojatieh sect 12th Imam leader, Ayatollah Mesbah-Yazdi (nicknamed "crocodile").

I wonder just how long the people of Iran are going to continue to put up with this?

We should ask ourselves the same question.

I keep seeing a stark parallel in these situations/articles with our own challenges with the American Oba-Hussein-Khomeini

The fact that he could not support the Democratic Movement in Iran spoke volumes.

My understanding is an strong possible alternative to the Islamic State of Iran is a Communist state. Not a great improvement from my perspective.

When the only thing Hitler has going for him is that he is not Stalin, you know it is time to put down the crack pipe and murder the lot of them.

There is no reason whatever Iran cannot have a democratic and pro-American government. It had one for decades in living memory and it can again. If there are a million rat-bastards between where we are today and that outcome, we should murder a million rat-bastards and get there.

Some things are too simple for moral idiots to understand. The rule of jackasses cannot be justified by the existence of other jackasses.

Let’s see,
The late shah while pushing Iran to be an educated society also was a bit ruthless in how his security folks dealt with dissent.
And for 30 years this “religious” group of nuts have been even more brutal.
Ya get rid of these crazies and I think Iran will simply choose a different thug to lead.

Pro-American? Soon, we’ll be so unrecognizable, probably under Sharia, that it will be no big deal for Iran to be, As Is, Pro-American.

Right.

We’re watching what was once the greatest country and force for good in the world being torn down brick by brick by a regime that was freely elected by its people.

We have no room to talk.

So you do not see the danger we are in with the number of Muslims in this country, their ever increasing demands to accomodate? My point is that if we do nothing and allow this to continue, there will be no need to change anything in Iran, they will accept us as a fellow country.
