Michelle Obama and Barack Obama are staying in an 8 million dollar house that costs $4000 a night for the holidays. The Hawaii White House is located on kailua beach on the island of Oahu. This is a special place for President Barack Obama because this is where his grandfather would bring him as a child. The beach is also very popular with Hawaii royalty. Just so you know there are many more affordable places to stay in the area. The Presidential beach house is 7000 square feet and is owned by Dave Zimmel of Paradise Point Real estate. The house has a lagoon in the middle. Malia and Sasha share a room right next to the pool.
Never ones to leave family out, Michelle Obama and Barack Obama rented out the two houses next door. The President's book sales must be doing pretty good. Work hard play even harder, that's what they always say.

The First Family has also flown in an expensive Christmas tree from the mainland for their holiday celebration.

Dave inviting us to include some of our favorite products in the Oregon-only welcome baskets he was making. The gift baskets would welcome the families that were renting his homes in Hawaii for the Christmas holiday.
And guess what?
The person renting the home was none other than President-elect Barack Obama and his family. Of course, we were very excited to be included in the gift baskets for the Obamas and their guests. We hurried around the mill and collected granolas, cereals, pancake mixes, oats and anything else we could think of that he or his girls might like.
A few days ago, we heard from Dave that our products were well received by the Obamas. The chef cooking for them was familiar with our products and prepared them for the guests.

Sherwood developer plays host to president-elect
President-elect Barack Obama’s recent vacation stay in a 7,000-square-foot Hawaiian estate was all thanks to the efforts of the president of a Sherwood development company.
The Obamas stayed in Paradise Point Estates in a spacious mansion owned by David Zimel, president of the Mercury Developments, owner of the Sherwood Plaza shopping complex.
The Obamas’ friends stayed at the adjacent Balinese estate. Both are located on the secluded, windward side of the Hawaiian island of Oahu.

Some of the other fine Oregon companies that were included in the baskets were Tillamook Cheese, Pelican Brewery, ArborBrook Vineyards and the Trailblazers.

And they left poor Bo at “home.” They are not dog people, and I genuinely believe that poor dog is nothing but a prop who they ignore 99% of the time. Anyone who loves dogs can see how awkward and uncomfortable the Obamas are around Bo, like the pictures of Michelle flooping along like a goose holding Bo’s leash.
Muslim don’t like dogs.
I'm sorry but I can't play the "well it started under Bush' game anymore. oBozo wanted the job because he said his Marxist central planning would get the economy moving and people back to work and it's gotten WORSE!!!! People are losing their life savings , homes retirements while the kenyan frolics in Hawaii. Someone in the media needs to stand up and say THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!!!!
GW Bush did a lot wrong but nobody can say he didn't care about the troops. The only vacations he really took were to his home in Texas and maybe some time at Camp David, but you never had this fawning coverage. Bam Bam STOP PLANNING YOUR NEXT VACATION AND AT LEAST ADDRESS THE LACK OF JOBS!!!!!

It’s good to be king. When you and I are picking up the tabs for transportation, lodging, entertainment, etc., why not spend a week or two in paradise. Geeesh, I can’t wait for Sarah to be the next true leader of the free world.
They don’t give a sh*t what we think of what they do.
That is why we escaped from the ruler ship of Great Britain.
America should never have a king.
Nor a tyrant, despot, dictator, traitor, incompetent bumbling fool or idiot as our leader.
If Ronald and Nancy Reagan had taken a vacation in the midst of the 1982 recession and stayed in a $4000 a night palace with flown in food, the press would have been hysterical in their nonstrop criticism about living the luxury while the jobless suffered. I remember back then the indignant stories when someone wrote the White House and asked for their favorite recipe; the initial response was some French dish which sent the media howling (the same people who would hang out at Lutece, The Palm and other extremely expensive restaurants). The Reagans had to send out a correction letter saying their favorite dish was macaroni and cheese. You’ll see nothing of the sort from the media now.
