Very strong radio waves can cause sparks too. This is why they tell you to not use cell phones when pumping gasoline.
And that AM station is about 5000 times the power that your cell phone is.

I did a blow down at Santa Rosa station in Peru in 2006, did you ever do that on start up?
Did they ground anything in the US if you did it?
We grounded NOTHING when we did, all that gas going out the pipe at high velocity...man, I definitely did NOT want to stand near that thing!
If you want an outline construction/start up procedure, I will give you one that I stole, you supply the ANSI/ASME references, from 1984 worked in the middle of Boston during a gas conversion of two 380 MW units.

You have my deepest sympathy. My late husband needed supervision 24/7/365 for his last 3 years. He did not want to die in a hospital so I cared for him at home and hospice sent in a nurse once a day at the end. Be kind to yourself, try to eat well. You may not have much appetite, but try to eat very nutritious food when you can. Take vitamin and mineral supplements. You don’t want your health to fail too and become a burden to others in the family. It may be a year or two before you recover physically and emotionally from an ordeal like this. Use your support systems or develop one. Grieve/cry as much as you can. The more you do, the quicker you will begin to feel better. Don’t know what else to say. Words are so frail at times like these.

I grew up on Coleman Road in Middletown, CT. Have relatives who live there and will be contacting them. Hubby and I are in GA on our way home from Nashville. Just heard about the problem in Middletown.
