You’re right. And I’ll bet they can’t dress in the morning without consulting a poll.

Was in the current congress person’s office today, Democrat Patrick Murphy. One of the staff of two was handling the heavy call volume better than the other but neither would get a prize for their behaviour, especially when one gentleman who arrived with me raised the issue of Murphy’s lack of communication.

In the space of fifteen minutes six people entered the office. Two of the six were speaking for organizations they headed up.

No one was happy that Murphy supported the health care bill and everyone promised the congressional staff they would work diligently to see Murphy does not return to Washington if he doesn’t change his mind and vote against it.

The staff appeared unrepentant, unmoved and unimpressed with the short reminder of our Congressional guarantees we provided.
