TITUSVILLE, Fla. — They call it Space City, U.S.A.

Drive along Highway 50 into Titusville, just across the Indian River from NASA's Kennedy Space Center, and you’ll ...

Now, as NASA prepares to ground its shuttle fleet permanently — just four more launches are planned, including one early Monday — Titusville's 45,000 residents are left to wonder what's next.

...this year Obama revealed a 2011 budget with no money allocated for Constellation, effectively canceling Bush’s plan and instead recommending that the focus be on privatized spaceflight. Though Congress still has to OK the measure, Titusville faces the possibility of another economic upheaval.

Obama is shutting down our space program - "recommending that the focus be on privatized spaceflight" Hmmm - he's taking over our major industries that should be in the private domain and plans to "shuttle" our Space Program, saying it should be run by private business. Is something upside down here? Is there a dirty and dangerous underlying scheme here? (It would take decades for privae industry to gear up - and by then, the Space Programs are lost to US and ruled by other countries - including Muslim Countries, per the hidden agenda (see link). HOWEVER: "Congress still has to OK the measure, Titusville faces the possibility of another economic upheaval."

obama ordered this shut down and money shuffle to Muslims countries WITHOUT going through Congress, whose legal mandate it is to make these decisions.

FLOOD CONGRESS with demands our Space Program not be killed. In addition to the other dangers - 7,000 people on the base will lose their jobs in Sept. Area businesses and jobs dependent on the base will lose additional tens of thousands of jobs - est. 36,000...there will BE NO JOBS to replace those lost. (Repeat the same scenario in Houston.) So obama is deliberately putting tens of thousands of Americans out of work, devastating the local economy that will fall to a 15-20% unemployment rate and shuffle them oney to "predominantly Muslim Countries to bring THEM into the space industry. READ accompaning link. AND he has the nerve to be going to Kennedy Space Center on April 15th to tell them how wonderful his crushing of our space program is.

WE must demand Congress use it's legal and mandated right to stop this NOW. Save our Space Program. Refuse to fund Muslims education and training to build rockets and rocket fuel - how many more Irans?

Call your Congressmen/women MONDAY - TUESDAY - every day from now to April 15th when obama goes to Kennedy Space Center to give his in-your-white-faces speech that will help solidify his shut down of our space program and shuttle the money to his friends in “predominantly Muslim countries.”

He has totally bypassed congress to do this - it is the legal mandate of Congress to make decisions regarding our space program.

Demand Congress stop this illegal act.

We need to call them NOW - put it on your calenders for every day next week. they will be less likely to do what they should do AFTER the ‘One” has given his pontificating speech in Cocoa Beach.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS - CALL - EMAIL - DEMAND (or warn your kids and grandkids that they will live under Islam.)

This has been a dream of community activists from the 70’s
to get their hands on NASA’s funding.

And the sad things is that the NASA budget is a pittance.

NASA’s demise, the filled in with concrete super collider project in Texas...

Wow, it used to be a good nation, but these types of things are merely the signposts on the road to oblivion.

Strongest nation on earth to oblivion in about 12 years.

Simply amazing.

I have no problem with private companies getting into the humans-to-orbit business. It's a good idea and some, like Lockheed-Martin, Boeing, and Space-X could have something up and running in a few years.

The problems are:
1) They are leaving a gap with Soyuz as the only operator. OK that Soyuz remains in the "taxi" mix, but they shouldn't be the only operator for years - for both pricing and national-security reasons.
2) Constellation isn't just a taxi service. It's a path for American human spaceflight beyond LEO for the first time since 72, back to the moon and beyond. As such it's a vehicle for national dreams, daring, leadership and pride. (in short, everything Obama is not)

The stupid public cares about ball games and the NCCA. Sports programming keeps the Lib TV propaganda machine alive. People would rather you take their freedom away than their TV. Fools.

I have no problem with private companies getting into the humans-to-orbit business

and nobodys stopping them - but there need to be a long lap-over - not a sheer drop off that leaves our astronauts, as you say, at the mercy of the ancient Russian capsules for ferrying -

and our money must NOT be sidled off to the Muslims to teach THEM how to build rockets and make rocket fuel.

THAT is the ultimate 'redistribution' - which well may have been his target goal all along.

And while everyone was/is watching and clamoring and demonstrating about the 24/7 health care "stealth care" bill watching his right hand, his left hand is doing the dirtiest work - it is, after all, the Islamic way.

BINGO

TV = Caesar's opiate of today.

Couldn't miss Idol or Survivor - and actually listen to what obama was saying before the election - and.or what was brought out about him. He said outloud what his Marxists goals were. His background is solid Marxist.Communist.Islam...and it was all public.

Anyone who voted for him, (Or stuckt their nose in the air and refused to vote for McCain 'to show the republicans a lesson", and now claims shock and dismay, has NO EXCUSE.

They got what they deserve. But we didn't.

Frantzie, sports can be something an adult and a young kid can share in common. Don’t think of something like this as evil.

The public has become complacent. I agree with that. I watch too much television, and I’ve cut back about 50% of it.

What I object to most of all, is the propaganda mixed in.

Tell you what, the next time a service costs you more, or your income takes a hit because of an Obama program, cut back the services you buy, by and equal amount, and tell the vendor why.

We’ll see how long these businesses take it in the shorts as a direct result of Obama’s policies before they get very angry at him.

...It would take decades for privae industry to gear up...

Private industry is already geared up and launching vehicles and have been for decades.

United Launch Alliance (Lockheed Martin/Boeing) has the Atlas V, Delta IV and Delta II. SpaceX has launched two Falcon 1's and is prepping a Falcon 9 for launch this summer.

The problem is non of these are man-rated.

Anyone been to Titusville lately? There is nothing here now and there hasn’t been for a while.

Looks like Knight’s Armament will be the largest employer in town soon.
