Ontario police, Drug Enforcement Administration agents and U.S. Attorney's Office personnel have arrested 52 people, including 27 on Wednesday morning, in a sweep targeting the Mexican Mafia and Ontario gangs. The arrests culminated a 17-month investigation. Twenty-five suspects had already been arrested. Eight area gang members are still outstanding.
The arrested are being taken to a federal holding facility in Riverside.

Must be CA as Riverside is mentioned also. Would be quite a coincidence if Canada had a Riverside nearly adjacent to a Ontario. I wondered the same thing until I saw Riverside.

If they ever detained every illegal alien in Riverside County, and arrested every Gang-Banger, the place would be a ghost town.
The Mexican Mafia refers to a specific notorious prison gang based here in California (Folsom.) They exercise control over most of the latino street gangs in California by imposing a street tax on drug dealers.
