I can still remember my first thought about going out on Angel’s landing.

There seems to be an Government pattern don’t you think?

Where the US is being harmed in $$$ all across the country I like to connect the dots I know there is more than the oil spill which could have been sabotage but more than that is the embargo which is hindering the spread and the phony clean up guys;

I think over the days I have heard other states talk about some FED activity going on and they are being hurt in $$$.

I am sure there is more...

Bryce Canyon is probably the MOST beautiful place I’ve ever seen. That road with the cutouts is amazing!

Thanks for the ping. I’ve been there 3 times (from Michigan) when I was visiting my sister in Vegas. Fabulous scenes. Interesting thread.

Is there anything that can be done?

I think we need to use the occasion to get more publicity for this region in as much as my screaming with email blasts to all the players in Kane County caused the Salt Lake Tribune and the Southern Utah News to come yesterday for interviews with me and Mrs. Binger. Hopefully our point of view will be made in the national press.

As to the closure the park service is holding firm. I am supposed to hear from Governor Herbert today. All the other politicians have called but they are really lightweights afraid to take on the man. Ever notice how weak, mealy mouthed and (humble) many Mormon bishops are? Politicians are the very same here.

I'm writing an email to Hatch and Matheson today. Might even use an obscenity or two. Doubt anything will come of it.

All of the routes shown in red effectively bypass the stretch from Long Valley Junction to Fredonia Az.

Oh gosh, glad we saw it Memorial Day weekend before this mess started. Bryce Canyon especially was absolutely beyond words. I’m sorry this is impacting the tourist industry :-(

“’Tronics is the work of the Devil”, as we used to say in the repair business!

If they are coming north, from the canyon, they’d probably swing west on 89-389 to get to Zion.

From Vegas going north they would not come out YOUR exit.

Coming south on 12, the LOCALS wouldn’t be hurt much, but those wanting to see ZION would swing west at 14 AGAIN bypassing you!

And this is just the INJURY!!!

Charging $15 buck s to be ‘escorted’ is downright INSULTING!

I hope they have a large TURNAROUND area in the ‘/most visited section of the Park’!

And make sure you women and daughters are locked in your car as you travel AZ 389 through beautiful downtown Colorado City.

I think the government is persecuting the poor Orderville Mormons once again.
