Los Angeles - Dozens of people who were blinded or otherwise suffered severe eye damage when they were splashed with caustic chemicals had their sight restored with transplants of their own stem cells--a stunning success for the burgeoning cell-therapy field, Italian researchers reported Wednesday.
The treatment worked completely in 82 of 107 eyes and partially in 14 others, with benefits lasting up to a decade so far. One man whose eyes were severely damaged more than 60 years ago now has near-normal vision.

Anyone with half a brain knew long ago embryonic stem cell research was being promoted by those in favor of the abortion racket and NOT on its scientific merits. In the same way, the Genome mapping project was supported by secularists to promote their world view.. and it’s similarly a total dud.

I cannot speak for other "supporters" of the Human Genome Project, but I literally just tonight finished reading "The Language of God" written by the head of the Project, Dr. Francis Collins, a physician who holds a PhD in physical chemistry. He is a most devout Christian with great insights as to why one should believe in Jesus Christ.
Believe me, his "world view" is that of a Christian. If you choose to not believe me, read the book.
