For decades the libs' favorite whipping boy was Christianity, particularly Catholicism. As an atheist myself I witnessed endless negativity directed toward Chrstianity under the guise of "ALL religions are bad."
Since 9/11, it's interesting--but certainly not surprising--to see how this supposed antagonism towards all religion has altered, when there is a perfect example of a religion that crushes the individual and has attacked the nation that is the most open to this diversity they're always going on about. Instead, secularists and Christian-bashers have altered their tune and are supporting any religion that's NOT the dominant one in this country, and in particular the one religion that would have the secularists up against the wall and machine-gunned if they were the dominant religion in this country.
Disgusted, but hardly stunned. This was entirely predictable & once again puts him at odds with 70% of the people.
Btw, I find Ms. Burlingame to be an excellent representative of 9/11 victims—she is quite intelligent & articulate. I’ve seen her on FNC & she states her case well. Very impressive lady, glad to see her continuing to speak out publicly.

He won the Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing and people put him in the White house for doing nothing - now he is doing something....as he promised, he is fundamentally changing America and Michelle is pushing him on in that endeavor. That mosque is an affront to All Americans not just New York City. Stop it anyway you can.
I couldn’t sleep last night because I kept waking up in a state of great aprehension. I feel as if Obama is about to throw off all pretence now and emerge as what he is, a Muslim fascist dictator.
The thing that concerns me is that I don’t think he’d be doing this so blatantly if he didn’t feel he already had the opposition sewed up and has nothing to fear.
I don’t know that he’ll declare martial law, however; in fact, he might consider that too risky, since it would have to be enforced by state National Guards, and I’m not sure he could count on every state to do it.
I was trying to figure out how he was going to carry off the final take-over, which he obviously sees as within his grasp and which will probably occur fairly soon. It will be something that will just happen overnight and will be a fait accompli by the time people find out about it.
I, personally, would be completely stunned if he knew all the words to Star Spangled Banner.
That would floor me.

I have exactly the same fears. Trying to figure out his end game is extremely difficult and extremely important.

We’re on the same page here. I wish I had answers. So far I got nothing.

Why would anyone be “stunned” by what Obama said? It’s exactly what I would expect him to say. He hates his country, and will do whatever he can to destroy it.
I’m thinking maybe they weren’t stunned, but rather, that the word was used to get a point across.
I don’t consider myself smart, but it seems to me that anyone with an ounce of brain would have recognized this was coming. Of course, I think there are many who are so enamored with this guy, they’re blinded to his treachery; so this act probably wouldn’t bother them.
Sadly, it may take these true believers the loss of some family member or friend due to terror to wake them up. With these folks, the only thing that penetrates their thick skulls is some extreme act, something that hits them personally.
While insisting that the place where the twin towers once stood was indeed “hallowed ground,” Obama said that the proper way to honor it was to apply American values.

Exactly. Whenever someone mentions in a conversation that Obama is "stupid," "clueless," an "idiot" or "doesn't know what he's doing," I now correct them as politely as the situation warrants. However extensive his intellectual deficiencies may be, he is totally dedicated to a hatred of traditional America and he is slick enough to sell what the Soroses of the world tell him to sell.
(Or sign what they put in front of him.)
It is a mistake to consider him unbeatable - for he is not - but it is just as much a mistake to let him off the hook by chalking his actions up to incompetence. His malevolence should not be softened or downplayed by portraying him as some sort of bumbler who is in over his head; he is a destroyer who is following someone's plan.
His support for this particular mosque was a given. If an action or policy will damage the United States, Barack Hussein Obama will help to implement it, every time. Evil.
