“Seriously, can’t these libs see what they’re saying?”

Yes they can, and they say it very clearly:

Anything that goes against traditional American values is good

Anything that reinforces traditional American values is bad

I’m ready to nominate Pastor Terry Jones as Man of the Year for exposing where everyone stands on the First Amendment.

Making our democracy work

It works just fine as a Constitutional Republic, thank you very much.

The fact that you as a Supreme Court Justice are trying to change that make me think you should step down from your position.

“Holmes said it doesn’t mean you can shout 'fire' in a crowded theater,” Breyer told me. “Well, what is it? Why? Because people will be trampled to death. And what is the crowded theater today? What is the being trampled to death?”

So are they finally admitting all the death and destruction is due to the fact muslims lack the ability to behave in a civilized manner?

If this doesn't fit the definition of 'terrorism', what does?

I know that that’s what their ideology is (though if you put it to them that way, they’d vehemently and emotionally deny it)

My point is that they are saying that they’ll only respect someone’s religious beliefs and cultural values if violence is threatened...

...."I guess we can’t tell the Saudis "......

It's not the Saudis that burned Bibles in Afghanistan, it was our own military.

This is what’s so frustrating about our current laws - there’s no consistency. The fed. government has actually FUNDED works of “art” meant to desecrate Christian symbols and that invite people to trample on our flag. These were SUPPORTED by the National Endowment for the Arts. All kinds of offensive speech has been deemed constitutionally protected - until now. Why? Because it’s like yelling FIRE in a crowded theater? This is very very bad legal reasoning, IMO. We’re no longer a nation of laws that make sense. We’re no longer a nation of laws.

He later issued a statement that said, “We are scared to Death of the Islamic world. Please don’t hurt us Mr. Hitler…er….ehm…that is to say, Muslims.

We won’t do anything to offend. PLEASE DON”T HURT US! WE BEG YOU! Here, we’ll make it into a law. Will that appease you?
O, where is the great Neville Chamberlain when you need him?…

Liberal coward.

Sorry for the redundancy. Word “coward” automatically implied.

So he’s saying that if other religions want equal rights they must go on violent, murderous rampages every time their sensibilities are offended.

So Justice Breyer is confirming that Muslims are barbarians and will act accordingly.

Crying "Fire!" in a crowded theater would possibly result in people stampeding to safety because they fear for their lives.

In the case of a Koran burning, Breyer's statement seems to assume that the primitive behavior of Muslims would cause them to trample to death the Koran burners.

One is an example of self-preservation, the other is an example of murder.

So the message is that if you want your symbols protected violence is the answer. These people have moved beyond stupid.

(a) my dog crapping on it
(b) using it as toilet paper
(c) shredding it
(d) laughing at it
(e) spitting on it
(f) using it to line the bird cage
(g) wrapping fish in it
(h) ignoring it
(i) owning a copy when you aren’t a moon-worshipper
(j) using it to hold doors open
...and so forth.
