LOS ANGELES Japanese officials delayed Paris Hilton at Narita Airport while they decide whether she will be admitted to the country after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor drug charge in Las Vegas.
An e-mailed statement by Hilton's rep, Dawn Miller, said the 29-year-old was stopped by immigration authorities upon her arrival in Japan on Tuesday, one day after her plea.
Hilton was scheduled to appear at a news conference in Tokyo on Wednesday to promote her fashion and fragrance lines, but that appearance was canceled.

Japan Officials Delay Entering Paris Hilton ...
The Japanese may be able to keep Paris from entering but like the French they will be unable to keep anyone from entering Paris.
Paris Hilton arrives and appears at the Regional Justice Center in Las Vegas, Nevada September 20, 2010. Hilton pleaded guilty on Monday to cocaine possession and was fined $2,000 by a Las Vegas judge and ordered to complete 200 hours of community service. I think they’re all full up on their skank capacity...
Poor baby. The adults have stepped in. Too bad, toots.
“ordered to complete 200 hours of community service.”
Sheesh! She already done way more than 200 hours of community “service.” I’ve even seen the vids of some of her “service.”
No surprise - after getting nuked twice, the Japanese have had enough of gaping holes.
SKANK, for GIRLS!
She’d better not be stupid enough to bring drugs into Japan. The Japanese are much harder on drug crime than we are and their prisons are tough (lots of work and strict rules) and I doubt daddies money could get her out.
I know many women that are prettier, more beautiful and have more upstairs then these drug addicts from Calipornia.
We really need to adopt Japanese/Singapore styles of criminal justice and incarceration. Prison violence and rape is almost non-existent and repeat offenders few and costs are much lower. In Japan prisoners are even required to work.
had to show off the new boobies??
Japanese STD prevention program seems to work quite well...
I know the US and Canada regularly permit entry to entertainers and professional athletes who would otherwise be inadmissible due to criminal convictions, while regular schmoes with a 20 year old pot conviction or DUI are denied entry. I don’t know if Japan extends this sort of special status to celebrities - they definitely seem to take a dim view of drugs and drug users.
Don’t care what y’all say about her.
She is not guilty.
She is not guilty.
Are you kidding? Look at post 5. Them meat bags are nearly below the waist.
And she’s not even 30 yet?
Oh well. A few thousand dollars and she can have perky ones once again.
