CA, Democrats Cling to Ever-So-Slight Advantages In Governor, Senator, Lt Gov Contests; 'Yes' 7 Puffs Ahead of 'No' on Marijuana: In statewide elections in California today 10/04/10, as early voting begins, 3 high-profile contests are fiercely fought, separated by 5 or fewer points, according to this latest exclusive SurveyUSA polling for KABC-TV Los Angeles, KPIX-TV San Francisco, KGTV-TV San Diego, and KFSN-TV Fresno. In the race for US Senator, incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer clings today to a narrow 46% to 43% advantage. Compared to an identical SurveyUSA poll released 12 days ago, Boxer is down 3 points; Republican Carly Fiorina is flat. Seniors are moving toward Boxer; voters under age 50 are giving Fiorina another look. In the race for the open Governor's seat, Democrat Jerry Brown clings today to a narrow 47% to 43% advantage. Brown is up a nominal point since the previous poll; Republican Meg Whitman is flat. There is little internal movement among many demographic subgroups,

Man....if the WATER issue doesn’t get the Republicans elected, there is NO HOPE!!
I am FINALLY seeing a lot more Carly ads here..about damn time because before it was only Boxer ads..Carly’s ads are pretty good too..Let’s hope for a Whitman/Fiorina victory in November!
Hey....If Californians vote for these two egg heads then Phu*k them... They’ll get what they deserve.
That state is going to go bankrupt in three years or less....Something has to happen....
Put Gov Moombeam in there again...and Barbara Boxe....You deserve them...
Idiots.. complete idiots if they can’t understand reality.
I would be honored to vote for the person who invented Ebay, as my governor...
Unbelievable how Cali will try to elect a damned liberal fossil like Moonbeam again.
California is almost hopeless. The fact that we are even close in this state is a very good sign for the overall election cycle. On the other hand, and considering the disaster their state is currently in, the fact that Californian’s still can’t seem to understand that socialism is a failed idea is deeply troubling.
Perhaps Barbara Boxer has peaked and Carly Fiorina is back on the upswing. The GOP has just put $2 million into this race and Fiorina is back on the air.
To demonstrate the stupidity of some/many of the American people, I give you DC Mayor Marion Barry. A completely corrupt and incompetent Mayor elected over and over again to represent our capital city despite being caught on video smoking crack with a hooker.
Brown is up for what?
“Carlys ads are pretty good too..”
I like the one when Boxer was getting pissy with the General. Fiorina does a verbal eye roll. Classic.
“Seniors are moving toward Boxer; voters under age 50 are giving Fiorina another look.”
I just don’t see how this is even a close race. A Feinstein-Fiorina matchup, okay. DiFi is a big lib, but she occasionally gets it right and is pretty sharp personally. I could see her giving Carly a tough fight. But surely even the most casual observer ought to be able to see Boxer is nothing but a career political hack and not terribly bright?
I starting to think the old joke must be true. West coast liberals are like a bowl of Grape Nuts - a bunch of fruits, nuts, and flakes!
Yeah that was the best one
People in California are just starting to pay attention.
Give it a few weeks and you’ll have a better feel for which way the wind is blowing.
The LA Daily News and a very nice endorsement of Carly

they were both good. Allred is a sleaze bag....She is incompetent. I doubt very much that she ever takes anything to trial....
The pernicious welfare cycle leads to desperation.
Democrats are masters of creating this unhealthy dependency.
It is very likely that the Democrats will prevail in California. The population demographics favor minorities which are likely to be Democrat voters.
The best solution is for the state to be split up into 2 or 3 states.
