Carly Fiorina is regaining lost ground, but Meg Whitman has slipped. Both are now cliffhangers.

MARK MY WORDS, if they both win, I am moving out of this hellhole of a state. (Actually, we’re moving either way, but it feels good to be so emphatic!)

Dirty tricks.

Remember Bush’s drunk driving coming out four days before the election?

Dirty tricks work. That’s why Dems use them, because they can’t win on their issues.

This is how the African-American/Democrat party alliance is broken ~ simply take all the major open seats East of the Rockies and leave California as the only redoubt of note for the now rump Democrat party.

They'll then be in thrall to their new Hispanic "masters" and that will not settle well with African-Americans at all.

I think they call that a "sea change".

Almost forgot to add, the price we have to pay for that to happen is the loss of our two female kinda/liberal rarely/conservative candidates for Governor and Senator.

What I don’t understand is why they unleashed the issue so long before the election? There are about 5 more weeks when the issue broke, enough time for Meg to recover, rather than say, 2 weeks before the election.

Who did they poll, and did they ask hispanics if they are illegal? Oh, well, they will vote, illegal or not. They have for years.<pvaudine

For those who won’t vote for Fiorina and Whitman, remember that you are making the election of Boxer and Brown even more likely. Thanks alot. Not all of us are going to move out like you. We get to suffer even worse due to your protest. It is time to get serious here. The only acceptable candidates here are Fiorina and Whitman. It is either them or further deterioration for California. Please help the rest of us and vote for Fiorina and Whitman.

Many of us moved years ago. What is keeping you?

These polls tend to run 10 Pts high so this means the Repubs are slightly ahead.

Pray for America

“Many of us moved years ago.”

No kidding. I escaped from the once-great state of California back in 1979, when I was 28 years old. I will never live there again. California was close to hopeless in 1979; it is beyond hopeless now.

“It is either them or further deterioration for California. Please help the rest of us and vote for Fiorina and Whitman.”

Absolutly correct!

I’m gonna hold my nose and vote for Romney-lite Meg Whitman. Won’t matter much except to that she’ll have the veto pen to keep the Legislature in check. The Dem crazy Senate and Assembly, and their special interest public service union thugs run California anyway....sigh!

I’ll vote easier for Carly Fiorina, but will watch her closely upon her winning......she’d better come through or I’ll throw her under the bus next primary season! (same as any politician....trust/verify)

Also, everyone who can get out there and phone bank, precinct walk, get a bumper sticker/yard sign etc. I’ll be phone banking for Fiorina all month.

Both races are narrowing, albeit it in opposite directions. The voters of California may hold important balances of power this year.

Boxer knows how to win in cliffhangers (remember 1998?). So this worries me...

Please vote for Meg and Carly before you go. Some of us are not leaving. We need every single vote this year, it is critical.

Are you kidding? I wouldn’t dream of leaving before casting yet another vote against Boxer, and a vote against the Jimmy Carter of California, Jerry Brown.
