Now that Goren and Eames are gone, I guess that there is no way ‘Nicole’ is somehow still alive. Never was convinced that that was her heart in the box, but I guess it was.
I was never sure about that either. Anyway, I am not nearly as interested in L&O:CI as I was when it featured Goren and Eames. I know D'Onofrio is alleged to be a liberal goofball, but he was terrific in that role and I always loved Eames. Great casting. Best partnership of the L&O franchise after Jerry died, IMO.
