The democrats have been touching republican junk for a long long time now..
They have been touching Sarah Palins JUNK long enough..
I dont think shes likes it..

I'd like to see what she does as President..
Maybe she would SLAP the Sh!T out of them..
And Boner would make them "assume the position"..

I wish he were right, but evil doesn’t disappear, it just changes tactics.

I suspect Horowitz is correct. The Democrats won't truly DISAPPEAR, but they will be marginalized as the New Communist Party.

The Republicans (because Establishment Republicans are moving left) will take the place of the Democrats.

And the Tea Party will be the New Republican party.

“Democratic Party Will Disappear From the Face of the Earth.”

Fixed it!

I see these Establishment Pundits and Politicians paying their now-obligatory lip-service to the Tea Party Movement, and I’m forced to wonder if they realize just how *conditional* is their much-ballyhooed “Republican Mandate” really is......

We’ve heard this sort of thing before and it’s BS. The Republicans will screw up again and the Dems will come riding to the rescue. The Repubs have no killer instinct and no real animus to those who wrecked our country. It’s just politics to them. Nothing personal. As for the Tea Party, well, we can only hope.

Mr Horowitz, you are foolish. How many times have either Party been declared dead, and going the way of the whigs. The money in either Party alone will prevent them from going away. Check your history.

Well I doubt that will occur.
The Rat party is too well entrenched and populated by an abundance of leftist cretins and morons. They can be marginalized however but look how many ‘Rat incumbent senators could not be voted out this bad economic cycle and Bam not up for the vote.

a future where everybody’s going to be equal and taken care of.

Nah, there will always be parasites who want the unearned, the undeserved, and something for nothing. And there will always be altruistic prey, who are willing to be looted and enslaved because of their guilt.

One should learn from one's enemies. Hubris and complacency go before the fall...A brand new copy of James Carville's "40 More Years" is now available at Amazon for just $0.01.

If the Republicans don't get the job done, they'll be out just a fast. And, the Democrats aren't going away for too long. Eventually, they'll shift their platform just enough to keep the most odious stances while seeming palatable.

For years now I have been saying that the Democrat party is destined to become the 21st century Whig party! Glad to know David is on board!

He’s wrong on this one. The “Democrat” Party, aka, the PROGRESSIVES/SOCIALISTS is nothing more than a group of Unions, Free-riders, and mis-guided “Yewts” who just think the world owes them a living, and OTHER PEOPLE should be FORCED (via Taxation), to transfer their earnings and/or wealth to them. They will NEVER go away, so long as the politicians keep doing their bidding, and in turn get their votes.

The Whigs died because they tried to remain a national party during a sectional conflict, trying to ignore the primary issue of the day. Didn’t work.

We have no issue that is similar today. Our disagreements are ideological, not sectional, except insofar as one or the other ideology is dominant in particular areas.

Well, that would be nice. But the Democrats have a solid 33% of the voters, who are only mad at them because they aren’t far enough to the left.

The party in danger is the Republican party. Because there is a tidal wave of voter discontent in the Tea Party. And the Tea Party isn’t about to replace the Democrats. They will replace the REpublicans, unless they come to their senses in the next two years.

The Tea Party would like to join and reform the Republican Party. But if the Republican rulers won’t have them, then they will form their own new second party, and the GOP will go into the dustbin of history.

The Democrats will still be there, if sadly diminished. The party won’t die, however, unless those on the left decide to form a more moderate leftist party and replace the Dems. There is no such movement in sight at the moment.
