Flip-flopping John Kerry faces a taxingly bitter winter
Boston Herald ^ | 12/12/10 | Howie Carr

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

This is Sen. John “Liveshot” Kerry, who like all moonbats in Congress has been driven to apoplexy by the proposed continuation of the so-called “Bush tax cuts.”

“I hope Americans,” Liveshot harrumphed, “will understand how craven and empty and hollow and contradictory the Republican position is.”

At least he didn’t call them gigolos. Everything else Liveshot is, he accused the Republicans of being.

Contradictory? Isn’t this the guy who voted for the $87 billion before he voted against it? Wasn’t he against Cape Wind before he was for it, or is it the other way around?

Is this the same guy who during the first Gulf War wrote two letters to the same constituent in Newton, one of which expressed his support for the conflict while the other expressed his opposition?

Hollow? “Can I get me a hunting license here?” Empty? “Manny Ortez.” Craven? This is the guy who once expressed his doubts about the fairness of racial preferences, then did a 180 a couple of days later. (Kinda like Joe Lieberman, come to think of it.)

At least Liveshot has announced he’ll be voting not to increase income taxes. Not that the Democrats’ proposed tax hikes would affect him personally, one way or the other. His second wife’s first husband’s trust fund has millions of Great Granddad’s money -— maybe hundreds of millions — invested in tax-free municipal bonds. Key phrase: tax-free. After all, as the late Leona Helmsley once put it, taxes are for the little people.

Of course Liveshot isn’t the only limousine liberal who’s gone into full meltdown mode this week over the new plan not to increase the tax rates on working people.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, the moonbat’s moonbat, went on MSNBC (where else?) and denounced the fact that “we give tax breaks to billionaires.”

Billionaires. Who knew? So if you’re single and make $200,000 a year, Bernie Sanders says you’re a billionaire. The rage that the leisure classes feel this week has endowed them with an amazing new power — the ability to read people’s minds, at least if they’re . . . billionaires.

The New York Times, owned by incompetent fourth-generation heirs who give themselves million-dollar bonuses every year, intoned this week that not increasing the tax rates would give more money to “people who do not need the money.”

As opposed to, say, freeloading illegal aliens such as Auntie Zeituni.

How exactly does The New York Times know who “needs” money and who doesn’t? Did Pinch Sulzberger and Janet Robinson “need” their 2010 bonuses? Other pablum-puking trust-funders have ominously predicted that the billionaire community will actually “save” the money, the bastards.

I had a woman call my radio show the other day and boy, was she mad. See, she used to work for a “rich” woman and that woman “splurged” on a $7,000 dress. Now, she insisted, the billionaires must pay for this outrage — all of them. So I asked the caller if last April she had checked off the box on her Massachusetts income tax form so she, too, could pay higher income taxes — voluntarily.

She instantly hung up on me. And Liveshot, Bernie Sanders and the rest of them wonder why America hung up on them Nov. 2.

And don’t forget Kerry trying to park his yacht in Rhode Island so he wouldn’t have to pay the taxes he would pay in his own state.

Demonrats are all hypocritical scum.

Up for re-election in 2014...any chance he can be defeated?
(Doubt it—only way he’s leaving is if Hillary departs Sec of State and B.O. appoints Kerry...)

We all knew the reality of the magnitude of their defeat would, at some point, cause them to lash out irrationally. For some reason, they believe that it is a good idea to pull out 4.9% more of the income of those who make over 200k, from the economy. Yep, that’s what the economy needs right now, take that money from those who are most likely to buy a new car, or perhaps some real estate. We certainly don’t want those billionaires to go out to eat as often as they have, nor travel, nor partake of anything that we, the downtrodden, have to live with. Besides, once those great democratic politicians have all those extra billions, that could’ve been spent on the above mentioned items, we know they’ll spend that money far more wisely than any billionaire. We know those honest politicians won’t cut any backroom deals with their lobbyist buddies to spend those extra billions foolishly. Yep, I sure don’t trust those billionaires to spend their own money wisely, when I can have my local congressman in charge of that money, no sireee.

I have to wonder why she no longer works for the rich woman.

In my experience people with this woman’s classist attitude either feel that they shouldn’t have to work hard because the rich are exploiting her or they can’t keep their mouth shut about their feels of being exploited.

I am guessing she got fired rather than quit.

Howie could have also asked her if now that she no longer works for a rich woman if she had maybe gotten a job working for a poor woman.

Why does Howie Carr call Kerry “Liveshot”? I’ve always wondered about that.

He’s going to drop a check in the mail for the yacht taxes at the same time he sends in his 180.

A liveshot is when someone does an appearance before TV news cameras, and John Kerry is always willing to get his face and views on TV etc. :)
Unlike “Corrupt Midget”, the nickname for Billy Bulger (which was coined by Judge E. George Daher according to “The Brothers Bulger”), which was not coined by Howie,
“Liveshot” was...

That money belongs to the govt., they feel, not to us who worked hard for it. Obama tax form: 1) How much did you make last year? 2) Send it in

Someone on my facebook (whom I agree with on music or sports but not politics) was raving about what a great thing Sen.
Sanders was doing and calling him “America’s Senator” for
the filibuster.

Thanks for explaining that. I thought it had something to do with hockey, and John Kerry and hockey - that just didn’t add up.

It could be applied to Chuck Schumer who absolutely thinks up a new law every sunday and goes on TV to tout it.
