Around dusk on Dec. 11, Moscow's police chief, Vladimir Kolokoltsev, arrived at the scene of a race riot that his troops had failed to quell. Mobs of skinheads had savagely beaten dozens of passersby that afternoon in the streets and on the subway, leaving blood on the ground and swastikas scrawled on the walls across from the Kremlin gates. As Kolokoltsev stood there, thousands of rioters were still chanting racist slogans and throwing bottles and flares at his men. He decided it was time to negotiate. For a police force not known for being shy with its truncheons, this was an unprecedented move, and it has solidified the growing belief among the Russian public that the authorities are either unable or unwilling to stop the recent wave of violence being perpetrated by the country's nationalists. "It was basically admitting defeat," says Evgeny Valyaev, the shaven-headed leader of supremacist group Russky Obraz, whose members took part in Saturday's riots. "They shouldn't have provoked us. That was their mistake. So Kolokoltsev was forced to negotiate with a man in a black mask," he told TIME in an interview Monday.

Race riots occur all around th eworld. But, its only news when whites do the beating.

The Russians are not hampered by political correctness.
They are very aware of the ethnicity of each other. Each group has their own targets.
Living under tyranny and poverty breeds jealousy and suspician...I’ve seen old ladies, in Moscow, sorting through the refuse thrown out from open air markets, looking for something to eat. “I better get there first!”
It hardens people.
If the Soviet dictators do not squash this, then they want it to happen, and they want it to happen because it gives them the means to acquire greater control over the people.
Make no mistake, communism in the Soviet Union did not die in the early 90’s, as much as we want to Give President Reagan credit for that.
The Soviet Communists went underground, split up among 11 of the 12 iron-curtain states (the 12th being Georgia, and look what the neo-Soviets did to them), to rebuild their economy while making the US put its guard down.
They will wait until America is in a very weakened state and then they will team with China, India, and Brazil to destroy us.

Do PC (or Soviet) regimes leave this as the only avenue remaining for those traditional males of western society to defend themselves and their society from those who would destroy them?
Hopefully, as long as Americans find political voice and power in movements like the Tea Party, talk radio & the internet we can make the required difference before we have to organize similarly.

Same in Europe, England, Canada and Australia. All because people were scared of being called a word. And all because people were consumed with living in the moment. People didn’t realize babies were the new warfare method of the 21st century for conquering land and territory.
Russia, at least the western half of Russia will still be intact. Russia will live on. :-/

Poorly written article. The Russian skinheads are beating what ethnic groups? The story does not say whom except to allude to people from the Caucasus. What people exactly and why?
In fact Russian ‘racism’ is very different.
You can easily see Jews and a lot of Asians among rioters.
Russian society is both race and gender blind.
It is mostly cultural. They don’t like brown muslim people since they don’t mix with major population and setting troubles on their Southern border.
In this particular reason there were a few of violent crimes committed by muslim immigrants attracted attention nationwide in Russia. Authorities has failed to investigate it out of PC reason so the riots happen.

Russians have long had racism and regionalism down to a fine art. The various ethnicities of the empire are ranked on a long chain of being with ethnic Russians placing themselves on top and (I think) Siberian Chukchis on the bottom but Chechens are the principal object of recent hatred for obvious reasons.
Also Slavic Russians rank in the regional pecking order is determined by their distance from Moscow although Moscow and St. Petersburg Russians have always been locked in bitter rivalry. We got a refresher in just how racist Russkies actually are when Cosby’s son was killed by a Ukranian immigrant in the nineties and his wife spouted off that the kid must have learned his racism in the states (this comment launched a storm of better-informed ripostes from those in the know).
Westwardho is right that people who live with a boot on their necks have an especial need to have someone else to look down on.
But you know what? Every group in the world is that way. Heck, the same ideas apply in Japan with signs on shops forbidding non-Japanese. The same caste ideas apply in India and elsewhere.
Throughout the world, everyone is playing with a full deck of cards, but Europe/England/Russians are supposed to play by rules that handicap them?
Self-preservation is more important than following some burned out hippie ideas of multi-culti utopia.
I’ve got kids and I want a bug out plan in case the US becomes too unlivable. With the leaders in DC willing to legalize all of Mexico and do their trusted traveler program, how much of a future do my kids really have in a LaRaza controlled US?
This is what perplexes me about us Americans. The overwhelming percentage of American have childen and yet as their country deteriorates around them they seem to pay little to no attention to the political situation. As long as their favorite TV shows come on, the weekends are filled with watching football games and the like, they're happy.
I am old. Also, I have no children and every day I give thanks for that on a number of levels. I think it likely that I'll be checking out before TSHTF, so I really have no dog in this fight, yet I am concerned about this wonderful country and what will happen to it. I think every Freeper shares this concern.
Much like the British press unhelpfully talks about troubles with "Asians".
