In June, Philip Alston, the independent U.N. investigator on extrajudicial killings, urged the United States to lay out rules and safeguards, publish figures on civilian casualties and prove it has tried other ways to capture or incapacitate suspects without killing them.

Dead people can’t sue...

We can always settle by sending over a waaahhhmmmbulance.
I say to the UN, go to hell.
I assume Gloria Allred be taking cases.
Be a real shame if we “accidentally” bombed the UN.Much like we “accidentally” bombed the French embassy in Libiya after we were denied fly-over rights.
Every day is April Fools at the UN
A government agent killing somebody without the target having been sentenced to death by a court. Since the death penalty is effectively abolished as far as the UN is concerned, any time US forces kill terrorists, it's an "extrajudicial killing"
Does that mean that all 3000+ 911 victims and their families can sue the Saudi wahabbi princes, PLO, the governments of Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Libya for financing the fanatics who perpetrated the attacks?
Didn’t think so.
Their estates can. To my knowledge such a lawsuit would not be allowed in a U.S. court. Acts of war performed by the U.S. military are immune from judicial review by U.S. civilian courts. If someone else thinks they have jurisdiction, welcome aboard, just try to collect. What are they going to do, indict Obama?
Think if the same standards the U.N. is proposing had been applied to the bombing of Germany or Japan. Forget about Hiroshima. I am not criticizing either campaign, by the way.
Global justice.. Harvard. He must be one of them intellectual fellas.. you know. He can express Marxist feeeeeeeeeeeeeeelings in his own words.
Source is wiki graffiti but maybe it's valid information.
How about we sue Pakistan for turning out so many terrorists?
Actually I recall reading about a lawsuit filed by the families of the 911 victims, as plaintiffs, naming the governments of Saudi Arabia and/or Egypt as defendants, in a class action wrongful death suit. Haven’t seen or heard anything about it in awhile though.
These days we are much too nice and everyone should be damn glad we are only killing innocent victims who are either humping or hugging the target
What? He’s going to drone on and on?
Give him a helmet and tickets for the short bus.
That’s where drones belong.

The Wahabbis and Muslim Brotherhood, as well as the governments of Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, all privided financial and logistical support for these genocidal fanatics.
They *ALL* should be sued into penury.
*ALL* Mosques in the U.S. should be taxed at 100% of their intake until all the multiple billions of dollars in damages to lifa nd property are paid.
Millions die as U.N. watches, does nothing.
I believe the gentleman's name is Romeo Dallaire a general officer in the Canadian armed forces who has exposed the U.N. "peacekeepers" as worthless (my word). General Dallaire is just one of many.
This Alston guy and his U.N. sinecure should worry about "justice" and the millions of victims of the U.N.
He has a point. Perhaps we could take out a newspaper advertisement:
Terrorists, Islamic Extremists, Rapists, Thugs, and other Haters of America who Donated to and then Illegally Voted For Obama - You are invited to surrender at the American Embassy any Monday through Friday from 9:00 am through 3:30 pm to avoid the necessity for extrajudicial killings that may put those who associate with scum like you in danger. Please do not surrender on weekends, as staffing is limited, or after 3:30 in the afternoon as your processing may not be completed by the end of the standard work day and we would prefer to avoid paying overtime.
Would that make these lawyers happy?
