A favorite story of Thurgood Marshall: Marshall was the sole occupant of the private justice’s elevator, when some unsuspecting tourists wandered into it. Finding a lone black man there they said, “First floor please.” “Yowsa, Yowsa,” responded Marshall as he pretended to operate the self service elevator. After holding the door for the tourists as they exited, he also left the elevator, noting their puzzlement and then confusion as he walked off and they realized who he was.

The liberals I know think they’re the ones who have the education and sophistication to run things properly. The historian-type liberals I know (who are fewer than you might think) realize that creating their own SA is a mistake. Grassroot, violent organizations tend to get out of hand.

Reminds me when a buddy of mine who was a chef was at a statewide cooking competition at a restaurant convention. He was wearing his short-sleeved work shirt while taking out some garbage, and another chef, apparently thinking he was a dishwasher, told him to take his garbage out, too.

My buddy said nothing and took the garbage out just like the other chef asked. He then proceeded to mop the floor with him in the cook-off and win first place.

She had their full attention as they leaned forward in their chairs, hanging on to her every word. And then there's the Hildabeast chasing after an Arabic head of state as he assiduously avoids her. Not really likely even a dumbarse friend of the Clintons, who are so into ‘celebrity,’ would either not know who Vanessa Williams was or ask a formally dressed woman - black, white, yellow or red - to perform a servant’s function.
