MARATHON — After a lengthy investigation, police say a teenage girl admitted that bite marks on her body came from engaging in "fantasy biting" and not an attack as she had previously claimed.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office, the 15-year-old girl is a fan of the vampire-based "Twilight" movies and books. After being with a 19-year-old boy at her Marathon home in August, she worried about her mother seeing bruising and bite marks on her neck, arms and back.

I guess the Phoebe Cates fantasy of "Fast Times at Ridgmont High" has been replaced.

This country is really sliding down the tubes, morally. We’re getting a big push from Hollywood and our mass communications elites.

And a lot of people (even here) will say "Teens! That's just the way they are! You can't control them!"

Once upon a time, we had morals and standards in this country and a lot of people actually behaved themselves. And the people who didn't, actually knew that they were doing something wrong. Today, there are no rules and people think you're a creep if you say "But that's just wrong!"

Todays Culture tells kids they are out of touch if they ain't humping each other like rabbits. Thats even the message sent by the newest episode of GLEE for Valentines Day.

"Hey, if you are old enough to have sex, you are old enough to move out and get a job!"

That should be the message

Let's see, wear a turtleneck or call the police, turtleneck or police... gee, calling the police seems so much easier.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. Arrest the whole crew for being stupid. Both the 15 year old girl and her 19 year old boyfriend. And toss his 19 year old fiance in the clink too for being involved in this whole episode.

I raised two sons. I was their father not their friend. I told the social athlete one if you knock up a girl you will quit college and get a job and support your offspring. They are both married and one has two kids AFTER a few years of marriage.

Being a father is not easy but it is rewarding and the best job you will EVER have if you do it right.

I am glad the police charged the girl with making a false police report. Let her deal with the consequences of her actions. I am also glad the police figured out she was a liar prior to arresting or detaining someone based on her attack story. Just a thought.

It’s all the Twilight series’s fault, of course. Never before in the history of civilization have teenagers come up with stupid, crazy ideas, tried them out and not liked the consequences... /sarc

Well, I hope this young lady learned a lesson about wasting law enforcement’s time to deal with her own dumb choices. The one who should be in real trouble here is the 19-year-old pedo creep who engaged in “fantasy biting” with a minor.
