If my kindergardener has to produce a birth certificate to gain admission to school, why doesn't the guy who is posing as Commander in Chief of our military and in control of our nuclear arsenal have to prove he is qualified for the job?
After all, it's so simple a child can do it.
The whole question has caused people who might not have done so otherwise to take a less starry eyed look at the person in residence at 1600 PA Ave, and wonder "Why doesn't he just produce the papers?"
The first cracks in the facade of hopeychange started as a result of the issue.
That pursuit of his bona fides doesn't stop anyone from pushing other means to prevent this crap in the future.
Agreed. The "Goldberg link" is to a blog at PBS that ends by saying that Goldberg sees the Middle East "through Israeli eyes," which may not be entirely accurate (heck, I tend to see the ME through Israeli eyes, and I'm not Jewish), but isn't exactly a big deal ---it's a blog.
