She was using a winning girls sports team as a prop for bashing the establishment republicans.

Very cool!!!

Am I the only one who doesn’t get it? She said fight like a girl. Her next sentence was, “speaking of Obama.” I think she was talking about how the GOP is fighting like a girl. Not that we are supposed to fight like a girl.

I think she screwed up the setup. Or did I miss something here? Then again, the audio was cutting in and out so maybe I missed a line or two.

Why doesn't she fight with the rats with facts figures and policy statements

Maybe you think she should also tie her hands behind her back?

Getting numerically wonky with the facts doesn't get you elected to the Presidency.

Being able to condense the truth into a phrase like 'death panels' is far more persuasive than going into tables and charts showing that Obaman promised way more than he can deliver.

Let the talking heads on FOX/ABC/CCN/etc argue the details.

The problem at Palins level is to frame the debate correctly, not to get wonky with numbers. The phrase 'death panel' did more to correctly frame the debate on what Obamacare means than anything that the number geeks did.

If he puts himself in a position for the nomination or gets whoever the other republican candidate is into a long drawn out Internecine fight, that is going to be a real problem. And if it doesn’t mean Obama wins outright, it means Trump would be President...and That would be akin to a “David Souter” presidency.

At least that is how I feel about it.

Trump not only inherited money, he was brought up in the real estate/building business and though he has made money on his own, he never did it "the hard way"/all on his own.

Did you turn on a dime, when you became a conservative and jump right in, trying to run for the presidency? That's what Trump is doing now. WAKE UP....LEARN THE FACTS AND STOP RELYING ON EMOTION !

She is simply saying the only fighters in the GOP are her and Michelle. She is also hinting she’s running and ready to fight.

FYI, the Donald has spoken respectfully of her too. He said this in his interview with George Stephanopolous last year:
DONALD TRUMP:
Correct. I am a Republican. I would run as a Republican, yes.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS:
So-- when you look at the field now, we've got Sarah Palin Sunday…in the New York Times.

DONALD TRUMP:
Very interesting. Very interesting.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS:
That she's really thinking hard about it.

DONALD TRUMP:
Hey. Same producer, Mark Burnett produced her show, produces The Apprentice, which has become a very, very major hit as you know, and we've had a lot of fun. But Sarah Palin, hey, she's very interesting. And don't underestimate her. I mean, I see what she does. Do not underestimate Sarah Palin. [My emphasis]

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS:
Would you take her on if she gets in--

DONALD TRUMP:
Well, if I ran, I'd have no choice. I would take her on. I like her, but I'd take her on.
Real players (and I don't subscribe to the view that Trump is simply a clownish buffoon who's doing this for ratings and an ego boost) recognize one another. Trump recognizes how formidable she could be. I truly hope that Sarah can break out of the image the media fashioned for her and show her true colors.

Your post reflects what a lot of us have been saying about Sarah Palin for the last few years. The left hates her because her life (faith, family and political) are the antithesis of what the left subscribes to. Yet Sarah Palin is all woman, not some drab, dorky policy wonk. She is the mother of 5, hunts, fishes and loves the rugged outdoors. Her husband, Tod, is a man's man and not some weak-wrist accessory. Sarah Palin has a clear record of accomplishment both in her personal life and her public life as an elected (and appointed) official. She has been thoroughly vetted by virtue of the leftmedia attempting to dig up some 'dirt' on her - and utterly failing, as well as her many policy/position statements put forth over the past 2 + years.

Sarah Palin has courage unlike that of any politician I've seen in recent years. She spoke at Madison, Wisconsin at a time when that city is at the core of leftist hatred toward conservative politicians. Palin not only speaks to a huge crowd in Madison but castigates both Obama and the Republicans who are not delivering on the promises they made in the last election campaign. I cannot but admire that kind of clear-minded approach to politics.

I agree that the polls are bogus. The leftmedia wants to steer Republicans away from the person they fear the most - Sarah Palin. The other 'contenders' for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012 are hardly mentioned by the media. Only Sarah Palin is criticized, demonized and mocked in the hope that she'll be unable to convince Republican and independent primary voters to vote for her next year. They will fail. Sarah Palin is what this county needs, now. RINOs and 'me-too' Republican politicians are too little, too late. Sarah Palin is an 'outsider' (to Washington) and has the kind of solid, conservative outlook that is needed. Although we'll get the usual chorus of anti-Palin posts on this thread, they are either mistaken or just trolls. Sarah Palin is not 'perfect'. She'll have a tough fight to gain the GOP presidential nomination and if she does, the Democrats (who obviously fear a Palin presidency) and their media lackeys will pull out all the stops to defeat her, that is guaranteed. I believe Sarah Palin can surmount all that. I know she has the courage to take it on, and that, alone, is admirable. I hope she runs. I really do.

“The adulation for Trump is disturbing.”

Media story - no serious Conservative will vote for Trump. And we WILL be driving the bus this time, not the RINO’s

The Democrats already fight like girls which includes:

* not letting logic get in the way of your talking points.

* use accusatory language wherever possible.

* use others (like the media) to do the heavy lifting in order to gang up on the enemy,

* cry foul whenever your opponent uses your tactics.

The Republicans are just too damned nice about it and they have been for 40 years.

Palin said the GOP could learn from its resolve and “needs to learn how to fight like a girl."

Way back when that would have pissed me off, but now, considering the leadership we have..............Go Girl!!!
