I think Perry would be much more formidable than say Mitt, Huntsman, Newt or the other RINOs.
While being a bit of a rube he at least is a conservative.

Also I miss Asia’s open markets like you show in your about page. Loads of fun walking them and wondering just what the heck this or that is??
Things are well here. Politics in/on Taiwan is a bit...different...to say the least. There is very little "worry" about an invasion by the mainlanders(CCP/PRC/PLA). Its a concern for a lot of the military - but thats about it.
My take on the lack of obvious concern is twofold:
If you live with something long enough it eventually assumes a lower status on your 'worry list.'
Everyone likes to have their relatives come for a visit. (this is only partly a joke here)
The traditional markets are pretty cool - Sort of like "Farmers Markets" on steroids everyday. I need to post some new pics of the markets.
