It has been going on for some time, and has had terrible financial consequences for cities. With the advent of shopping malls, there was little reason to visit a city’s downtown to shop; as the commerce died the jobs died with it. Now we’ve evolved even further, to where malls themselves are dying; between online shopping and specialty stores, there is no reason to drive to a mall, deal with crowds of people, only to find out the item you were looking for is not in stock.
Without government intervention (offices and other projects), many NJ cities would have very little traffic of potential mugging victims.
They will rob and kill everyone they can before they starve, though. Hell, they do that now. There WILL be another civil war. And it will probably dwarf the first one. Not many folks want to admit that it’s coming,yet, but a lot of people know it.
Nope, I saw one interview and the idiot young white girl went out of her way to be PC. I am sure she thinks conservatives selfishness caused these thugs to act the way they did.
The educational brainwashing by the left truly has a great number of Americans blind to utter evil of the left. Things will get a whole lot worse within a year. Trying times are ahead. BLOAT.

Word still gets out, and people learn to avoid certain areas and people. The internet is useful for these events; anyone with a cellphone can post footage on YouTube that directly contradicts the official story. I live between 2 cities in NJ, and my family has rarely been exposed to either; I will drive over an hour to find a nice park, rather than frequent any of the dozens within a twenty minute drive where whites might be killed for sport.

I pray people are prepared to defend themselves. Our neighborhood is close and many of us have fully prepared. A good number of ex-military. I will say this, we don't fear Zombie attacks.
Remember what the Philadelphia mayor did back in the early 80’s when the radical M.O.V.E. group holed themselves up inside a building. He had a police helicopter fly over the building, dropped an incendiary bomb into the thing and everybody died.
Sounds like some solid police work to me. This method should be adopted with the flash mobs. Send in a chopper to strafe them.
I’ll go one step farther. I don’t think this is random, I think it’s being fomented. Someone got marching orders from up above, have infiltrated into neighborhoods and groups, and are doing communist style ‘community organizing’ to create fear and terror.
These aren’t just kids roaming around the neighborhood. They’re traveling and doing it in nice places like Michigan Ave in Chicago and riding on trains and buses to pre-selected establishments. I find it hard to believe hoodlums like these are randomly organizing this kind of stuff to this level of efficiency.
Like Operation Gun Runner, I think this is a dirty little plot hatched right out of the White House.
I don’t know if I can make that jump, but...it IS an identifiable and increasing trend. No doubt about it.
If you look at the type of people in this administration, people who chum around with people like Bill Ayers and his wife, people who admire Mao and Che, then...what you suggest doesn’t seem so far fetched.
Yes everyone who is dumb enough to live in intown Atlanta is going to have their hands full when the SHTF. We are out in the burbs and we have finally determined that even with a bad attitude and plenty of weapons and ammo our house is not defendable. We are looking for a place with enough acreage for a clear field of fire. Plus up in the mountains of N GA there is no cultural diversity.
IMO, the Duke lacrosse fiasco was an early variation on this phenomenon. In that case, a feral mob of adults was able to hijack the criminal justice system to extract racial revenge. They damn near succeeded in getting them in front of a Durham jury.
Those who participated in the first flash mob in Chicago were arrested and motions regarding prosecution are being gone through. But generally any prison time by an individual is only served after a score of arrests for increasingly violent crimes.
I agree it’s a leap, but I look at not only how it’s happening across the U.S. simultaneously, but how there seems to be organization to it beyond the social networking thing.
Dressing up to camouflage yourself in a nice area to rob a store? That takes forethought and organization. Not actions of a feral mob. Traveling large distances on public transportation to loot a store? Hoodlums are generally lazy and commit crimes of opportunity. Showing up and public events like fireworks and state fairs to beat the hell out of people? Damn risky, especially if you don’t know the security arrangements - unless you cased them out ahead of time. Again, not the usual m.o. of a random mob that hasn’t been incited by some event.
Sorry, I grew up in a dirty sh**hole factory river town. I know thug behavior. It tends to be random and not well thought thru. It’s not easy to get a big group together for a common criminal purpose and pull it off without screwing it up. Some of this stuff is way too sophisticated than just teens looking for a thrill.
FV, your analysis makes a lot of sense to me.
I have no proof, all I have is patterns with inconsistencies to what would normally be considered random feral behavior and crimes of opportunity. It makes red flags go off in my head like last nite’s fireworks.
And if this is random and not fomented - we got one helluva BIG effing problem in this country because it seems to be going ‘viral’ and gaining momentum, and it looks like it ain’t going to be getting better any time soon.

I live in Austell. We had no problems during the epic floods of 2009. They knew the local LE were turning a blind eye and they knew it was real easy to let the flood wash their asses down to west point.
I figure those north of the river will be in a good strategic position to defend, High ground overlooking the bridges. Control the bridges and the ain’t goin nowhere.
