What Americans have not been told is that this “memorial” will remake Ground Zero so that it does not acknowledge 9/11.
Instead of acting as a constant reminder of the attacks, a symbol for us and future generations of the evil that struck, the death and destruction it caused and the heroism and sacrifice in response, the memorial will wipe out all evidence and memory of the attacks.
...The cause of “these deaths,” how these people came to be absent - that is, 9/11 - has been deemed irrelevant and even contrary to your memorial “experience.”

What is disgraceful?

Disgraceful is defined by the direction the 0 and the Democratic Party, and the Communistic/Atheistic ACLU and “progressives” would lead America to abandon our Foundations in Religion,Morality, and Knowledge. Disgraceful is the fact that the Ground Zero Cross-fashioned when the WTC came down is deemed too “religious” for public display- why it might offend the Muslims—or the atheists of New York City. Disgraceful is the fact that the Government guiding this Memorial? has submitted to the Islamic Demands of the Ground Zero Mosque-and has put a fist in the face of God in so doing.

You got all that just from this article? I read it and found it to be lacking in details and long on ranting.

I thought it was quite detailed. It mentioned very specific examples of the depersonalization of the victims, the removal of any mention of those who were FDNY or similar, the mention of Fr Mychal Judge by his title, etc.
They also refused to include any of the pieces of metal from the WTC, including the very tragically damaged globe, which I have seen in Battery Park and which is very evocative of the horror of that day.
An attempt is being made to sanitize the whole event and put it down the memory hole. We need to recall that we have enemies, one in chief (Islam), and that it would happily destroy all of us if it could. Making it sound as if 3,000 people mysteriously vanished into thin air for no discernable reason on Sept. 11, 2001 is a cruel trivialization of the event that took their lives and an intentional concealment of the evil force behind it.
1) A can of red spray paint.
2) Night.
3) Correct designer and government oversights.
4) Problem solved.

While he mentions Mayor Bloom-Ing-Idiot and the architect I would assume there are others who were responsible for this/these decisions and it would be nice to know who to contact to express our displeasure?

For Communism to successfully replace all existing ideologies including Capitalism, it must wipe out history, traditions, memories, patriotism, borders, religions and all "outdated" norms and standards so that agendas such as Obama's Marxist "change" can come to fruition and replace the past.
This is what's "disgraceful", my freeper colleague.
Although a better term than "disgraceful" to describe such a world would be "Orwellian", "soul-less".....and certainly "rudderless".

A true is memorial is to be a preventitive, and a vigil to it’s repetitiveness.

I love what a brother in Christ said many years ago; “Why do we have this remembernce feast, or memorial so often?
Because we are great forgettors!”
I think it’s basically motivated by liberals, who are like children: they think that if they shut their eyes and cover their ears, the monster will go away simply because they refuse to acknowledge it.
It’s the same thing as the failure to mention that the “flash mobs” are all black and their victims are whites or Hispanics or Indians and Asians or identifiable foreigners...in other words, not black.
But pretending that it’s not happening, or didn’t happen, prevents people from making any attempts to deal with it.
Still, that’s the liberal mind-set. I think Bloomberg is an ur-liberal, that is, a progressivist control freak who wishes to impose his blindness on others, but not necessarily an Islamist. Supporting him, however, there probably are Islamists, the same folks who used him in the Ground Zero mosque affair.
As for what’s being done, so far as I can tell...nothing.
