NEW YORK (AP) — Part of New York City's John F. Kennedy Airport has been evacuated due to a suspicious bag.

Steve Coleman of the Port Authority, which runs the airport, says the bag was left in the business class lounge at the American Airlines Terminal 8 around 7:40 a.m. Monday.

Terminal 8 was shut down as a precaution. The rest of the airport is still open.

Much more realistic. Isn’t LGA a wonderful place. I usually fly Delta out of there and the crown room is well worth the price there.

I lived in CT for over 7 months and had to fly in and out of LGA to go home to Chicago (which has much nicer airports that are out of reach of the homeless people). Ugh it was awful. Every time I was there I thought I was in a Third World country, which is pretty much the same as the rest of NYC.
