The press corps has a mild buzz going about a weekend contretemps ginned up, for publicity's sake, by Sarah Palin's camp, in her ongoing campaign to show how badly she is victimized by the media. The odd thing is that she has been victimized by the media, horribly so, and many of us (myself included, in several posts after the Gabby Giffords shooting) have rushed to her defense -- so she doesn't need to gin up controversies out of thin air. But that's exactly what she and her team did this past weekend.

Wow, that is the lamest article I’ve ever seen.
When the MSM works up the guts to apologize for the YEARS and TENS OF THOUSANDS of misquoted articles and hit pieces based on unicorn farts, I’ll think about labeling Palin a Diva.
Tha Spectator ought to fire the idiot that wrote that. Friggin hilarious stupidity on display there.
Reporters are such whiners.
Pfffttt.. The air going out of Palin’s balloon.
It’s worse than you think. Having worked in the industry I ASSURE you that when they get smacked down they pout the rest of the day while they write the article. Then the ‘Thin ink line’ mentality kicks in and the others go defensive and get all righteous the next time that subject gets covered/interviewed.
Anyone who ever worked a newsroom will tell you a similar story.
Yes it’s pretty lame....no juice to it at all.
Why don’t you read this before you post something like this? http://conservatives4palin.com/2011/08/quin-hillyers-article-was-wrong.html
Thanks for the link/reply.
Let’s see, was there ever an apology from Dan Rather for his fake but accurate document? Or from all the other RATporters who did their damnedest to destroy GWB up to and including endangering troops and the security of our country?
Ska-rew the presstitutes...wait a minute, they’d like that.
May the teabagging perverts all develop ED.
Unfortunately one can easily and totally ***** someone with a BS article thoroughly, and satisfactorily.
But I still share your desire ;)
First, if Pappas wears the scolding as a badge of honor, it might lead to better job offers given the make-up of those who hire journalists.
Second, Palin has to rapidly respond to anything that looks remotely like she supports Romney. The scolding, and the hubbub after accomplishes her objective, which is to make it clear that she is NOT endorsing Romney. If she is anything other than loud and brash on this stuff, it WILL be taken the wrong way.
Because the poster has a history of cheap hits on Palin.
Thanks for that. It’s nice that there are still a few people like McCain out there. That may not always be the case.
Why don’t you KMA?
Palin's balloon will always fly in the majestic heights of the stratosphere among the radiant light of her extremely loyal supporters.
As far as the rest of America goes, the Palin zeppelin crashed and burned a long time ago.

Question 25. Sarah Palin - Do you think this person would make a good president or not?
.................YES.........NO.......DK.....Never heard of
Not ready for primetime. She should know better. Worse than eatin’ a corndog. Worse than not going to family reunion. Worse than missin’ Elvis deathday. All of that and more.
I haven’t begun to cover all of the worse thans.
Can't argue with you there. AFAIC, they're all an arrogant lot. We have a few (former) on FR (not gonna mention names) that are the biggest blowhards.
