These elections may or may not be a bellweather but I do think it’s important the lesson concluded from them. If the know it all’s running the party think mediscaring is suddenly not as effective they may be a little more willing in supporting reform and not try to cut all off at the knees who propose it.
Plus the perception of Obama being toxic helps to stall his agenda.
Oh, Jesus.
BS?
I think so.
Truth.
Toxic Baraq Syndrome - infecting Democrat candidates from coast to coast.
I’m thinking by next fall, Baraq will have a difficult time getting any candidate (except those in the locked in looney left districts) to appear with him.
I don’t get it! Conservatives have won every special election from the Massachusetts politburo to the NYC comintern. They’d probably carry Havanna. But politico and athe dem polling show Obama beating all republicans by 10% or more. What gives? Are Americans wising up? or is the 50% incorrigible dumb*** nontaxpaying, welfare, teat-sucking, entitlement factor kicking in?
Many Americans have finally had their attention focused thanks to Obama’s Marxist economic two by four applied to their thick skulls. After getting whacked in the head a number of times, they’re finding out that it’s not a pleasant feeling. In fact, in hurts a lot.
Kate Marshall fought tirelessly”””
Don’t know about tirelessly, but she certainly was TIRESOME.
Her shrill voice & her tiresome commercials won’t be missed.
I wonder how much the Dems spent to push her into this job?
I don’t think she is doing a very good job as state Treasurer, either. I live in Nevada.
Goes to show also, we need to keep the voice of the Tea Party alive in the country so they are not overwhelmed by DNC/media lies.
This article is a bit misleading.
Without Marshall’s constant claim that Mark intends to destroy Medicare and SS, his margin of victory would have made her a complete joke.
Those ads WERE pretty effective among seniors and those who really do NOT usually follow politics.
That would be those “Independent Voters” all the candidates want/need to appeal to.
It’s fortunate that Mark finally put together some decent response ads, I think he may have been advised to ignore those attacks until near the end of the campaign.
If you look at the results by county Mark won by over 20% nearly everywhere.
The more rural the county (fewer welfare bums) the greater his margin, up to 75%!
Washoe is primarily Reno, the welfare mooch and entitlement class capitol of Northern Nevada, he won by 11% there.
His district does include some of Clark County, the portion OUTSIDE Las Vegas.
His margin held there too, but it’s still rural Nevada, not the liberal stronghold of metropolitan LV.
The real victory here was the Republican grassroots efforts, we showed up at the polls, the D’s mostly stayed home.
Next year “Pinky” Reid and his cabal will bring all their resources to bear, including a more formidable candidate, we must not take anything for granted.
Maybe had seiu or the new black panther party sent in their union thugs to bust up a few old Jews in N.Y. or a few old farts in Nevada folks in both places would have seen the light. Yeah, that’s the ticket beat them in to submission next election.
Good morning MarkOmalley.
Even better Henry Waxman said the win in New York was just a bunch of Jews trying to hold onto their money.
Karen Harrington for Congress is running against her.
I'd missed out on Waxman but found the thread:
Waxman: Jews May Vote Against Obama Because 'They Feel They Want to Protect Their Wealth'
