How the hell do you think we’d fund local Gov and schools? Income tax???? No way that’ll happen in Texas. How about something libertarian like voluntary donations?
Schools not only receive funding through property taxes (which essentially gives our real estate to a school board), but 25% of Texas fuel taxes go to education (by Texas Constitutional Amendment),and then there's the state lottery ( a tax on stupidity).
Personally, I'm sick and tired of educating and feeding someone else's kid, especially if they are illegal aliens.
