That photo is deceptive. This is an ANTI-American, anti-Capitalist, pro-Communist movement.

Meanwhile....

IMF to draw up new tools for eurozone crisis

I don't suppose the protesters have said anything about this...?

anarchy = communism .... does not compute.

Anarchy = Absence of government and absolute freedom of the individual, regarded as a political ideal.

communism = a totalitarian system of government in which a single authoritarian party controls state-owned means of production

These people are completely illogical in their yearnings. Unless, they simply want the first state of affairs to cause to the second, which I suppose is the whole point.

Basically, these people want to be sexual and moral libertines and they want the government to give them the money, confiscated from everyone else, to pay for their hedonism.

We conservatives must unite and fight like their is no tomorrow because there isn’t if these people succeed.

In more important news, Mac daddy takes a mini vacation, at the tax payers expense, since there are no pressing problems anywhere in America.

Bill Ayers: "I considered myself partly an anarchist then and I consider myself partly an anarchist now. I mean, I'm as much an anarchist as I am a Marxist which is to say I find a lot of the ideas in anarchism appealing."

Anarcho-syndicalism

A common Anarcho-Syndicalist flag.

In the early 20th century, anarcho-syndicalism arose as a distinct school of thought within anarchism.[78] With greater focus on the labour movement than previous forms of anarchism, syndicalism posits radical trade unions as a potential force for revolutionary social change, replacing capitalism and the state with a new society, democratically self-managed by the workers.

Anarcho-syndicalists seek to abolish the wage system and private ownership of the means of production, which they believe lead to class divisions. Important principles include workers' solidarity, direct action (such as general strikes and workplace recuperations), and workers' self-management. This is compatible with other branches of anarchism, and anarcho-syndicalists often subscribe to anarchist communist or collectivist anarchist economic systems.[79] Its advocates propose labour organization as a means to create the foundations of a non-hierarchical anarchist society within the current system and bring about social revolution.

I live in a NYC bedroom community here in New Jersey.

If these people bring it here, they had better not step foot on my property.

Cleaning and oiling weapons is a great pastime.

I wonder if the liberal Broadway actors are supporting the protests.

Don't they have to since they and all those associated with stage production are union members?

I'm sure they'll stay in NYC where they're getting attention.

I am old enough to remember what REALLY happened after the killings at Kent State. The American people blamed the rioters even though the media was all over the protesters as victims. Nixon won in 1972 by a landslide..and, most importantly, the candy ass college cannon fodder were scared sh*tless that they were going to get shot down AND THAT WAS THE LAST PROTEST ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS !!

So, don't worry about it....the worse and more violent this gets the more we will win the people...and if it gets to the point of shooting the bastards, the American people will be on the side of the police. Especially if there is major provocation. And there will be because libs like Bloomberg will only get tough after he is forced by his constituents when thigs get really out of control. Bring it on, I say !!

My sister and I went to a couple of shows in Times Square last weekend.

We are both relieved at what good timing we had. (Plus, the weather last week was spectacular!)

The weather was really spectacular last week. BTW, what shows did you see?

I had seen so many of the shows there either on previous visits or in London, so we saw a couple we hadn't seen yet. We saw "Mary Poppins" last Friday night and "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying" on Sunday.

We had intended to do the ticket lottery on Saturday for "Book of Mormon," but had so much else going on that day, it just never happened. We loved both of the shows we saw, though. We'll catch "Book of Mormon" next time I visit. I'll just order waaaaay ahead of time. :-) (My sister lies there - Upper East Side.)

We were also meeting good friends there who were visiting their daughter at NYU Polytechnic. They'd never been to NYC, so we did a bunch of fun toursity stuff as well, like the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island tour and the Bronx Zoo. We had a BLAST!

"My sister lies there" = "My sister lives there"

Stupid smart phone.

Yeah. That's what I'll blame it on. ;-)

Sounds like you had a great time. I really liked Ellis Island. When we went there, we rented the head phones and thought it was very interesting.

I even got a little choked up a couple of times there.
