other countries were “invented” too - like Jordan for example. does it deserve disdain that it was created by international agreement? the comment upset more than the Palestinians. the problem with the Palestinians is not really that they are an invented nation(the Israelis agreed to Partition after all), but they refuse to abide by the details of the agreement that created their nation, i believe.
