My blood pressure soars every time I watch this SOB...WHAT he's saying AND the WAY he says it...he makes an effort to pronounce words just like he's a freaking raghead.

If I were in charge, NO WAY would we be sucking up to filthy, murdering, goat-fornicating, child molesting cowards.

"Noble people" my a$$.

(I searched this several different ways and couldn't find it. If it has already been posted, I apologize.)

The problem in Afghanistan is that the evacuation is going to take place through Indian territory. I have to admire Harper on this one again. As soon as he found out the Americans were leaving, he didn’t waste any time getting out.

This a$$hole dishonors the uniform that he wears. I would bet he became a 4-star because he is exceptionally adroit butt snorkler just like most of the general staff officers.

This General Should be fired for derilection of duty. Not protecting his troops. He should be fired.

This whole episode makes me sick from Obama’s Big Mouth apology to this guy.

Granted!when the President gives you an Order you have to follow it and I’m sure he was ordered to make that apology whether he wanted to or not but he should have the honor to resign his commision and retire.

He owes that to his troops.

I don’t understand the Muslim anger. As I’ve said before, isn’t the murder of someone who is created in God’s image also a crime against God?

But the sentiments exist and have to be dealt with.

The only objection I have to any apology is that they’re not pointing out the response is irrational in that it was inadvertent, nor promising the retaliation of the United States against the persons who urge the murder of Americans.

If the Taliban don’t take over after we’ve left, I would be surprised.

This is Obama’s “military,” and when you think about it seriously, the terms Obama and military are mutually exclusive! Time to get out of Afghanistan, since there is absolutely no military objective!!!!!!!!!! Besides, Karzai has been milking the U.S. for $$$$$ since the onset of this mess.

This is what is wrong with our government. We have the Gutles Old Party (GOP) and the Party of Death (POD) and neither one gives a crap about the country.

Either one hides the fact that their politicians are in bed with the enemy and enjoy having carnal relations with him.

The two US personnel assassinated today inside the Afghan Defense Ministry are described as ‘high ranking’. No word as to rank, service or status (civilian or uniformed service) . Who did the killing? A high ranking Afghan Army officer? This is both sinister and there appears to be some sort of cover up underway.

Hey 'General', maybe they could hear you better if you took your boots off, kneeled on a prayer rug in the direction of Mecca, and kissed a Koran while offering that apology?

You dishonor your uniform, the Corps, your fellow Marines, our Flag, our Constitution and our Nation. A REAL Marine would have told that piece of sh*t 0bama to go eff himself before groveling before our enemies.

SHAME ON YOU.

You don’t. I don’t. I suspect there’s a lot of anger because Muslims are taught that their faith is the Final Answer, and yet few convert willingly. Then the infidels live better lives than they do. Material favor is a sign of God’s love in their eyes, so they are irrationally angry at the West.

Hey, I was just trying to lighten it up in a way, yet make a point the the author of the caroon was trying to convey.

In the end, I don’t think it is going to make any difference if we understand it.

Their anger is going to be a moving target.

Their bigger issue (for many muslims) is their willingness to be a tool for imams, IMO.

Hasn't everyone finished apologizing yet? Seems we've been through every government official and military man above the rank of Ensign and Second Lt. They are probably working on a new list now at the Defense Dept, starting with Typing Pool Cubical # 305 and working down.

If "Joe-the-Plumber' was a democrat, they would have him on 'Night Line' begging for forgiveness.

Damn, give us a frigging break and put a sock in it, obama !!!!!!!!

From what I understand, the Pentagon is saying that if those 2 soldiers were 'just' wounded and not killed, they would have been brought up on charges of stealing Afgahn bullets and hiding them on their bodies and would have been sent to Leavenworth for life without parole. Therefore, they were lucky to have been killed.

US Military Burns Bibles but Condemns Burning Korans

Bible BurningIf reports are accurate, it looks like those who burned Korans that had been written in to deliver secret messages to other prisoners may have to stand trial. We’re not hearing anything about whether those who killed US troops over the affair will suffer a similar fate.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai had accused a United States officer of “ignorantly” burning copies of the Koran. As a result, rioters took to the streets. So far, 11 people, in addition to the two U.S. servicemen, have been killed.

Demonstrations have drawn thousands of angry Afghans to the streets, chanting “Death to America!”

“NATO officials, in response to a request for the trial and punishment of the perpetrators … promised this crime will brought to court as soon as possible,” Karzai’s office said in a statement.

President Barack Obama sent a letter to Karzai apologizing for the burning of the Korans, after Afghan laborers found charred copies while collecting rubbish at the Bagram Air Base.

I don’t know if the President has said anything about the deaths of two United States soldiers and he wants an apology from Afghan President Karzai. Apologies these days are mostly a one-way street. We’re doing all the apologizing.

Our government apologizes for burning a few Korans, and yet it burns thousands of Bibles at the same Bagram Air Force Base. Here’s a CNN story from 2009 that is not getting any media attention:

Military personnel threw away, and ultimately burned, confiscated Bibles that were printed in the two most common Afghan languages amid concern they would be used to try to convert Afghans, a Defense Department spokesman said. The unsolicited Bibles sent by a church in the United States were confiscated . . . at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan because military rules forbid troops of any religion from proselytizing while deployed there, Lt. Col. Mark Wright said. . . .

“The decision was made that it was a ‘force protection’ measure to throw them away, because, if they did get out, it could be perceived by Afghans that the U.S. government or the U.S. military was trying to convert Muslims,” Wright told CNN on Tuesday.

Troops at posts in war zones are required to burn their trash, Wright said.

According to the military, the Bibles were “trash.”

The one thing that would help the blood-crazed Middle East, military rules say it must be destroyed. Is it any wonder that we are not making any progress as the body counts continues to mount? God is not mocked. We are trying to win a war with bullets, missiles, and drones instead of God’s Word. What’s worse, shooting bullets or dropping Bibles all over the Middle East?

On May 28th, 1849, Robert C. Winthrop (1809–1894), descendant of Governor John Winthrop, first governor of Massachusetts Bay Colony, addressed the Annual Meeting of the Massachusetts Bible Society in Boston, and said in part, “Men, in a word, must necessarily be controlled, either by a power within them, or by a power without them; either by the word of God, or by the strong arm of man; either by the Bible, or by the bayonet.”
