The left’s slutwalk with Rush Limbaugh backfired badly. I know this because both Peggy Noonan and Kathleen Parker have posted columns along the line of, well, now that you mention it, Bill Maher did say things that are worse. Timing is everything in politics and comedy and it is very poor timing to accept $1 million from a millionaire potty mouth named Bill Maher who uses slurs you cannot print in the newspaper just before you rip into Rush Limbaugh for calling a woman a slut.
But the problem is not Bill Maher.
The problem is liberals are misogynists who are cruel, mean and nasty to any woman who dares challenge their paternalistic vision of the world. Consider the destruction o9f Hillary Clinton 4 years ago. Ironic, isn’t it? The very things that liberals falsely accuse conservatives of doing are the things the liberals do.
Consider this from Jake Tapper of ABC’s interview with Bill Maher:

These Leftists are really trying for an Orwellian society - with their selective rules and language control. They already have it that Whites must say "the n word," while Blacks just say "nigger." Where to now? Will it now be that Conservatives must now say "the s word," while Leftists just say "slut" in addition to worse vulgarities?
What you defined is the whole purpose behind PC speech. Once they can control language,m they can control thought. Then by recognizing that different language can apply to different people, it isn't too big a leap to apply different laws for different people.
In fact that step has already been taken with selective enforcement of hate crimes, refusal to prosecute the Black Panthers for intimidating voters, or the OWS participants for violations from misdemeanor vandalism to felony rape. This week Obama took the special step of personally granting an Indian tribe permission to kill Bald Eagles - the National symbol of our strength and freedom.
Is this not the beginning of separate courts practicing Sharia will someday honor killings and abuse of women might be allowed in America depending on the perpetrator?
