Don't kid yourself. Everyone with a future in Republican politics will be endorsing their party's selection for presidential nominee. That's the way the game is played.

Perry waited until Gingrich dropped out before endorsing Romney. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Exactly. Palin, Newt, Santorum, Bachmann, and every other influential Republican will be endorsing, supporting and campaigning for him as well. That is kind of the point of a political party. Those that can't support the nominee now generally have no future within the party going forward.

Ya see, that's the whole problem...It's no longer a game, or business as usual.

The political insiders and their futures, are not the issue. That is what's left America nearly dead on the floor.

We need a second party.

When Mitt lost California four years ago, he immediately endorsed John McCain. That is how it works. If you go out honorably, maybe you can take it all away in four years like Mitt has done this time around.

Did you hear Newt say he dropped out or did you read it?

True. There is nothing to be done about it. Newt was my guy and he just didn’t make it. Like it or not Mitt Romney is going to be the GOP nominee so the choice on voting day is Mitt or Barry.

“Don’t kid yourself. Everyone with a future in Republican politics will be endorsing their party’s selection for presidential nominee. That’s the way the game is played.”

You are entirely correct. And I will give them a pass on this because they would burn their bridges forever if they didn’t endorse the “party” nominee.

However, it is still distasteful. No one is brave enough to speak the truth anymore.
