“To be clear, this regulation will not be pursued for the duration of the Obama administration.” "To be clear" seems to be the BHO administration's favorite phrase. I am skeptical of everything they do. They withdrew it because of public opinion, or it was all orchestrated from the beginning to make it look like they are willing to be kind of enough to "give" us some of our rights and freedoms back--as if they ever had the power to take them away to begin with?

“To be clear, this regulation will not be pursued for the duration of the Obama administration.” The Obama "administration" ends Jan of 2013 regardless of whether he wins or loses. We are the only ones who can ensure that it's not replaced with the Obama "era of flexibility"
